The Tower of Babel was a land mark and not a staircase to the stars. The people at that time in history were as intelligent as we are today and they knew about the curvature of the earth. A five foot seven inch, 5’7” person can see 2.9 Miles to the horizon but not beyond that. The greater the height the greater the distance a person can see which is why they built towers called crow’s nests in older ships for extended observation.
The Tower of Babylon was built high to be seen from a great distance. People who were scattered could know where the central authority resided. Additional towers could be built when the distance was too great. This would mean that they accepted that place to be their Federal Headquarters. The leadership would then become a Warlord who would murder any competitor as it was in the ancient world and even in recent times. Omar Kaddafi and Saddam Hussein were recent examples. They murdered their way to power but were probably also murdered by bigger powers.
The result was there were many Warlords who fought many battles but no one has ever conquered the world.
God’s plan was for people is to scatter and form small non-central communities and NOT to form a Central authority, government.
Israel was ruled by Judges under the LAW OF MOSES until they insisted on a King. Most of their Kings were corrupt and they Crucified their real King. Our supreme court was modeled after rule by Judges and Law and still has the commandments of God indentured in the building.
Washington D.C is our Federal authority with certain responsibilities but our constitution guarantees States Rights and we have a Congress and Supreme court whose task is to protect those rights. Globalist, 5th columnist, home grown and foreign born have made it their task to ignore and destroy our constitution and move to Federal authority only and then to a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT.
The European Union, the E.U has a Federal head that is appointed and not democratically elected. State members can leave the E.U as Brittan has recently voted to do calling it BREXIT.

Apparently THE TOWER was well built. If the tower came down they would just rebuild it as they did the World Trade Center buildings. The brick and mortar and heavy stone construction was used up until the time steal girders were used in late 1880’s and steal bridges in early 1900’s.
These people are all descendants of Noah and his sons and wives so we would expect them to speak the same language whatever that was.
Technology was very limited to early cultures greatly reducing their ability to make Global war like we are threatened with today.
Many nationalities and one language and freedom in the USA enabled us to take the lead in Technology. Many of our secrets were sold to and some stolen by foreign powers and they have even improved upon some of our technology. The technology for Japans ww2 war machines came from foreign powers such as England, France, Germany and the USA. The telephone, Electronic Television, Transistors, integrated circuits and computer technology came from the USA but they are now worldwide. Atomic energy and Mass production and modern agriculture and medicine just to mention a few, all came from the USA, Daniel 12:4.

THE END OF NATIONALISM
After Armageddon:
1**And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2**And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3**And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should DECEIVE THE NATIONS no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4**And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they came to life, they were resurrected and REIGNED WITH CHRIST a thousand years.
The nations of planet earth will still exist for the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ but they will be subordinate to Jesus Christ who will RULE PLANET EARTH from Jerusalem. The rulers of planet earth will all be appointed by Jesus Christ under a theocracy with no democratic elections; However, there may be town hall meetings with petition to local authority and to the over ruling authority in Jerusalem by prayer.
Satan currently and for many ages has been trying to form a one world government known to us as Globalism. His efforts have been centered in the Mediterranean world and he failed in 2, two world wars principally by intervention of the USA. His ultimate objective is the destruction of Israel.
It became obvious to Satan that the USA must be destroyed in order to achieve his European objective. His efforts here were thwarted by the servant’s of God like FDR, JFK, RMN, RWR and most recently DJT as well as many not mentioned patriots.
Satan’s final effort will begin at Revelation 12:7 which is the final 3.5 years, see Revelation 12:13-14, Daniel 9:27 of the 70 week, 490 year prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27. Revelation 12:1-6 concerns the first advent of Jesus Christ and Revelation 12:7-17 concerns the expulsion of Satan and his minions, Angels from the 3rd heaven, the throne of God to planet earth for confinement and destruction. Revelation 12:6 to Revelation 12:7 is a time span of almost 2000 years or perhaps longer, Matthew 24:36.
A one world government under Satan would lead to Rule by the Elite and finally to a complete destruction as the Creation could not sustain their continual way of management through murderous destruction, Revelation 11:18.
The 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ and the redeemed who are all Saints will be a time of peace and prosperity but will end in destruction with Satan as the instigator, catalyst, enabler, Revelation 20:7-10 which will end in the destruction of the our entire universe, 2Peter 3:10, Revelation 20:11.
The redeemed will move to our eternal home, the New Heaven and earth after the final, the 5th resurrection. Some to many will survive the final judgment by works by God’s grace just as we did, Matthew 5:7, Matthew 25:35-40.
