Servants of God:

We know God is because we have Babies and kittens and puppies and beautiful flowers and that is just some items on a very long list.

They are much too complex to exist by mere accident and much too enjoyable to claim coincidence meaning they were made to be a compliment to us.

Faith is what we think but faith is measured by what we do and do not do.

Are we perfect, NO but we reach for perfection and fail many times, 1John 1:9.

Without faith in God there are no Godly works but without Godly works there is no living faith in God, James 1:21-25, James 2:14-18.

The Creation itself is the proof of a Creator who is God meaning the source of the creation, Romans 1:20-21.

The Bible presents Jesus Christ as the Creator, John 1:1,10,14, who is God who became flesh meaning he morphed, changing His natural form which is Spirit, John 4:24 to that of a man servant, Colossians 2:8-9, Philippians 2:5-11, John 1:1-14, Hebrews 10:5.

The Deity of Jesus Christ is 100% God as He came from God but He is not the entirety of God, John 1:1.

Jesus Christ is a different aspect of the Old Testament God Jehovah and is God’s  LINK to the human race who in the future will be the masters over the Creation, Romans 8:19-23, John 1:17-18 .

 Jesus Christ will come a second time as the “Lion of the tribe of Judah”, the greatest of warriors and not as the suffering servant or baby in a manger.

He will begin taking control of planet Earth during the last half of the 7 year great Tribulation period, Revelation 11:15-18 NASB.

The 7 year period will end at Armageddon with the Armies of the world being destroyed and Satan cast into prison for 1000 years.

The Rulers, Princes, those in authority over the creation in eternity will be from the Human race and we are foreknown to God who will appoint us, Romans 8:18-25.

Those in authority in the millennial reign of Jesus Christ will be the men and women who have walked with God and have proven themselves to be responsible and worthy of leadership, people as was Solomon full of wisdom from God and with the Grace and love of Jesus Christ, Revelation 1:6, 2: 26-29, 5:10, 2Timothy 2:20-26.

The Race to perfection:

We do not compete against each other but we compete against the rules of the race including 1John 1:9.

The rules of the race are faithfulness to the plan of God and they are measured by the commandments of God.

The starting line of the race is repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ our sin offering, Acts 20:20-21, and Acts 17:30-34.

The end of our race will be our personal death or the Rapture, 2Timothy 4:7-8, Revelation 11:18.

It is imperative that we “Run the Race set before us” Hebrews 12:1-8 according to the “Rules of the Race”, so as not to be disqualified losing the Prize.

The Athletes Race:

1Corinthians 9:24  You know that in a race all the runners run but only one wins the prize, don’t you? You must run in such a way that you all may be victorious.

1Corinthians 9:25  Everyone who enters an athletic contest practices self-control in everything. They do it to win a wreath that withers away, but we run to win a prize that never fades.

Self Control:

1Corinthians 9:26  That is the way I run, with a clear goal in mind. That is the way I fight, not like someone shadow boxing.

1Corinthians 9:27  No, I keep on disciplining my body, making it serve me, the spiritual person  so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified losing the Prize, Philippians 3:13-21.

The Winners Crown:

2Timothy 4:6  For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

2Timothy 4:7  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

2Timothy 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.

Salvation is a Gift and not a Prize.  Prizes are rewards for services rendered to God during the time spent in our mortal body.

Hay, wood, and stubble are works done in the energy of the flesh and will receive no rewards, 1Corinthians 3:11-15.

Mary a Servant of God:

Luke 1:30  And the Angel said to Mary, Do not fear for you have found favor with God.

Luke 1:31  And behold! You shall conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call His name JESUS.

Luke 1:32  He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest. And the Lord God shall give Him the throne of HisGreat Grand  fatherKing David.

King David lived about 1000 years before the conception and birth of Jesus.

The Throne of King David:

Psalm 132:11 Jehovah has sworn to King David in truth; He will not turn from it; I will set one of the fruit of your body on the throne for you.

Psalm 132:12 If your other sons will keep My covenant and My testimonies which I will teach them, their sons shall also sit on the throne for You forever.

The forever throne would have been here on planet Earth and probably eventually in the New Earth but this promise, verse 12 was conditional meaning they must adhere to the teaching of Jehovah which they did not.

There has not been a son of David on the throne of David since Judah was deported to Babylon where their last king was killed, Jeremiah 52:10-11.

Daniel 9:26 is a prophecy, given about 600 B.C concerning the first coming of Messiah and specifically His death which is referred to as being “Cut Off”.

King David is a link in the genealogy of Luke 3:23-38 through whom passed the “Seed of the Woman” that eventually arrived in the virgin Mary from her father Heli and Mary’s mother, Genesis 3:15, Galatians 3:18-19.

The Genealogy of the Seed

Genesis 3:15:

Luke 3:23 Jesus himself was about 30 years old when he began his ministry. He was (so it was thought) the son of Joseph, but was in fact the  son (grandson) of Heli the father of the virgin Mary.

King David a Link:

Luke 3:31 the son of Melea, the son of Menna, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son of King David,

Luke 1:33A And He, Jesus Christ  shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, 

Luke 1:33B And of His kingdom there shall be no end.

The seed of Genesis 3:15 passed through the mothers to the sons in the genealogy meaning the mothers were not virgins having given birth to sons whose fathers are listed in the same genealogy.

Like wise, their sons are not born of a virgin so they are not the Messiah who must be born of a virgin whose name is Immanuel meaning God is with us, Isaiah 7:14.

When the seed arrived in Mary it came through her mother from her father and not a husband meaning that Mary was a virgin and Jesus was born of the virgin. 

The house of Jacob

Ezekiel chapter 37:

The house of Jacob is the sons and daughters of Jacob who will return to Israel, the “Promised Land” with Jesus Christ as Messiah the King.

This is the millennial kingdom of Israel, the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ.

This will be a gathering of Jews from all over the world from where they have been dispersed, that is: those who have survived the “Great Tribulation” and those who have been resurrected at the first resurrection, Daniel 12:1.

The “Promised Land” will have expanded borders as promised to Abraham making Israel Many times larger than it currently is and it will contain all of the northern and southern lands of historical Israel and the northern and southern tribes will be one nation.

The opposition will have died at Armageddon and the Devil will be in prison making it a peaceful transition.

Jacob was renamed  Israel after an encounter with God, Genesis 32:27-28.

Jacobis the father of 13 sons out of which came the twelve tribes of  Israel which eventually were reduced to those mentioned inRevelation 7:4-8 .  

The Virgin Birth:

Luke 1:34  Then Mary said to the angel, How shall this be, since I do not know a man?

Luke 1:35  And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit shall come on you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you. Therefore also that Holy One which will be born of you shall be called the Son of God.

The Messangers of God:

Hebrews 1:1  God, who at many times and in many ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

Hebrews 1:2  has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds (or ages),

Hebrews 1:3  who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, through Himself cleansing of our sins, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high,  

Jesus Christ was presented to God the Father after the completion of His earthly ministry and resurrection which preceded the arrival of the comforter, the Holy Spirit on planet earth to begin His ministry that is now approaching 2000 years,  Acts 1:9, Daniel 7:13-14,

The Comforter:

John 14:16  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Having been reminded and directed by the Holy Spirit to write certain things; they wrote the Gospels and Epistles and the Revelation of the New Testament, John 21:25.

John 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of me:  

John 16:7  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

The Excelence of Christ Jesus:

Hebrews 1:4  being made so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Hebrews 1:5  For to which of the angels did He say at any time, “You are My Son, this day I have begotten You?” And again, “I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son?”

Begotten here means to be born of a human mother becoming flesh.

Angels are Spirit and some can take on different forms but they are very much different than mankind, Hebrews 1:7, see below.

Although Angels are referred to as “Sons of God” in some context, Job 1:6 they were never begotten of God, John 1:14.

Job 1:6  And a day came when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah. And Satan also came among them.  

Satan was part of the group of Angels here but is not addressed as a “Son of God” as he has changed from Lucifer “the light bearer” to Satan “the enemy of God”, losing his status as a “son of God”.

“Son of God” is a title, name that means a perfect or complete being as God meant that person to be.

All those born of God are children of God but God has a Goal for all of His children also called maturity which comes when we are being led by the Holy Spirit and not by our old sin nature, 1Corinthians 3:1-3.

Adam also lost his status as a “Son of God” but maintained his status as a “living Soul” separated from God spiritually, 1Corinthians 2:10-16, Ephesians 2:1-7.

Lucifer becomes Satan:

Isaiah 14:12  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Isaiah 14:13  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars (Angels) of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

The context seems to indicate that Satan wants the eternal position presented to “God the Son” who is Jesus Christ by God the Father.

Calvary proved that Satan was not qualified and never could be.
