Who is he
What is he
Why is he
Act chapter 17:
10**And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11**These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures (the Old Testament) daily, whether those things were so.
ARE WE SAVED?
Salvation has 3 components which are; initial, in term and final. The Gifts and callings of God are irrevocable, Romans 11:29, Acts 13:48.
Salvation is not of the Church which is a gathering of like minded people but comes directly from God the Holy Spirit and is permanent and not capricious but very deliberate.
The Holy Spirit is given to us after we have a positive response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Luke 24:45-47 which is repentance toward the righteous God FOR the forgiveness of Sins (NASB), Acts 3:26, Ephesians 1:13 and we are guaranteed eternal life by the Blood of the Lamb of God regardless of future works, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 11:29.
We are then still in the world but sanctified by the Holy Spirit with a personal commitment to be separated from evil worldly living, see Ephesians 2:10.
Believer’s who return to living as the evil world lives will undergo discipline to encourage them to return to their commitment to Godly living, 1John 1:5-10.
Discipline can be gentle for the repentant or quite severe for non-repentant Christians resulting in the sin unto mortal death, see 2Corinthians 12:20-21, Hebrews 12:9, and they will be minus eternal rewards, Galatians 5:16-21.
At mortal death, all in fellowship Christians are out of their mortal body and in the spirit and out of the world and present with the Lord in the third Heaven, see 2Corinthians 5:5-11.
Christians who walk as the world walks are not in fellowship with the Lord, 1Corinthians 5:1-5, and they will miss the Church Rapture but will be resurrected at the 1st resurrection but without eternal rewards, Galatians 5:16-21, Matthew 5:19, Revelation 20:6.
Out of fellowship Christians will not be with the Lord after dying but they will probably be in Limbo as, 1Peter 3:18-20, 1Peter 4:6 but NOT in purgatory or Hades, see Revelation 2:17, 1Corinthians 5:5. The Day of Lord Jesus is the second coming and the 1st major resurrection.
Out of fellowship Christians who are alive at the time of the GREAT TRIBULATION will be victims of the wrath of Satan, Revelation 7:13-14. The spotted robes here are out of fellowship Christians and the washing of the Robes is done in the Christian Laundry, 1John 1:9.
Romans chapter 10:
8**But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9**That if thou shalt CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou SHALT be saved.
SHALT be saved is future tense and is not a reference to initial sealing, Ephesians 1:13, Acts 13:48 but rather final salvation when God Takes us out of here.
WHEN WE BELIEVE then we are sealed, Ephesians 1:13, ear marked by the Holy Spirit and we enter a race to completion, 2Timothy 4:7-8.
Our heart is the core of what we are. Even though we are not righteous we believe in righteousness and would like to see a 10 commandment world, LOVING GOD AND LOVING OUR NEIGHBOR, Luke 10:27.
Those who love Evil also hate Righteousness. In our Fallen Condition we do not always do the right thing when we are tested but God foreknowing this provided 1John 1:9 by His Grace. This is not License to sin as the cleansing portion is discipline for the non-repentant Christians, Hebrew chapter 12 which can lead to premature mortal death and loss of rewards and inheritance, Galatians 5:16-21, Hebrews 12:9, Galatians 3:1-3.
Since God created life itself, why would resurrection be a difficult task for Him? The resurrection of Jesus is crucial to Christianity. It is something that we believe even though we did not witness it but the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures witnesses to us of the resurrection, 1Corinthians 15:12-23.
We are FACE TO FACE with God with the indwelling Spirit of God and the Scriptures, 1Corinthians 13:9-13.
10**For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto (resulting in) salvation.
11**For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12**For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13**FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.
Ephesians chapter 1:
Believing Jews
11**In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12**That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
God is willing that none should perish, 1Timothy 2:4-6 but in His foreknowledge He foreknew who would respond to the Gospel of Salvation and who would not.
Believing Gentiles
13**In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, YE WERE SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise,
14**Which is the earnest (down payment) of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
