The current BODY OF CHRIST the Church is never mentioned in the plural as LOCAL CHURCHES are for there are many local churches and denominations.
The redeemed of the Church age, John 5:24, Romans 8:28-30 are all members of the BODY OF CHRIST without regard to Nationality, Gender, Status or Church affiliation. They are all sanctified, Sainted by GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT and were known by God before the foundation of the World, Ephesians 1:4-7.
The 70th week, the last 7 year segment
of Daniel 9:21-27, a Prophet of God.
The last 7 years segment is divided into two 3.5 year segments. At the beginning of the first 3.5 year segment Israel will make a peace treaty with the head of the revived Roman empire who is anti-Christ, Revelation 17:10-11. In the middle of the 7 years the anti-Christ, probably Satan who has taken over the Body of the slain anti-Christ, Revelation 13:3 will break the treaty, Daniel 9:27. This coincides with Satan’s expulsion from the 3rd Heaven, Revelation 12:7-9,12,14.
We are currently in the age-times of the Gentiles, Luke 21:24, Romans 11:25. This is also called the THINGS THAT ARE, Revelation 1:19, which is also called the CHURCH AGE, Revelation chapters 2 and 3.
The Church age began at Pentecost with primarily Jewish believers with some Roman proselytes in attendance. Proselytes are Gentiles who have converted to Judaism, Acts 2:10.
The Temple system with animal sacrifices, Hebrews 9:24-26, operated some 38 additional years following Pentecost until the Temple was destroyed by the Roman army in 70 A.D, Daniel 9:26. Apparently, God said enough is enough.
The Aaronic priesthood was a temporary priesthood for Israel until Messiah the Prince.
The slaughtered animals represented innocence as they had done nothing to deserve death just as Messiah Jesus was innocent and had done nothing to deserve death. Many Jews understood this but most did not and do not but will during the Great Tribulation period, the Last 3.5 years.
It was necessary in God’s plan of Redemption, Acts 2:22-24 that Jesus die in our place as His innocence would not allow Him to be held by the binding chains of Death and His death gave us a New prototype, image, pattern that the redeemed will be conformed to, the 2nd Adam, the Spiritual Adam, God in the flesh, Jesus Christ. The 1st Adam the fallen Adam is the pattern for our person of the flesh.
When we are Born again we have both patterns. The person of the Spirit and the person of the Flesh and so we struggle to walk by direction of the Spirit of God and put to death the deeds of the flesh. Because we yield to the person of the flesh at times and we all do, God has provided 1John 1:9 a provision of the Melchizedek priesthood.
The Church, since its beginning at Pentecost has been under the Melchizedek priesthood as our sacrifice who was JESUS, the LAMB OF God is a onetime sacrifice who post resurrection sits at the right-hand of God as our intercessor.
Destruction of Judah and the
Temple service in 70 A.D.
The Romans killed 1.1 million Jewish people in 70 A.D and took 97 thousand captives and destroyed the last temple. A new Jewish Temple will be built with provision now underway and for many years.
After the RAPTURE of the Church, the BODY OF CHRIST, Revelation 4:1, a 7 year, the 70th week count-down will begin, ending at Armageddon.
Revelation 6:1, the rider of the white horse is an Anti-Christ.
Revelation 17:8–The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and goes to perdition. And those dwelling on the earth will marvel, the ones whose names have not been written on the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, seeing the beast, that it was a thing, and is not, yet now is.
Revelation 17:9–Here is the mind having wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains, where the woman sits on them.
Revelation 17:10–And the kings are seven. The five fell, and THE ONE IS, and the other has not yet come. And when he does come, he must remain a little.
Revelation 17:11–And the beast which was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes to perdition.
As I understand it the only being that could qualify for this person is Satan who cannot die and who has indwelt some Kings of antiquity such as the King of Tyre. Domitian, THE KING THAT IS had the Apostle John exiled to Patmos. Domitian later died of a knife wound in 97 A.D. Satan will possess the dead body of the slain anti-Christ who is the seventh King and one of the seven becoming the eight. The Apostle John perhaps lived well on the Island having food and shelter which is where John recorded the Revelation. He was isolated from his fellows but was in the service of God recording books of the New Testament on Patmos for the then current Christians and for future generations.
Revelation 17:12–And the ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive authority as kings one hour with the beast.
Revelation 17:13–These have one mind, and their power and authority they shall give up to the beast.
Revelation 17:14–These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and the ones with Him are the called and elect and faithful ones.
The BEAST is Satan’s political system that has been revived from a time in the past when it was ruled by the Roman empire and will be composed of Satan’s military commanders with a federal head, the 7th King and an army of subordinates.
Revelation chapter 5 is devoted to the recognition of the authority of God’s Christ who is the LAMB OF GOD and is for the benefit of those in God’s Heaven and those who read the Bible.
The intermediate time period between Revelation 4:1 and 6.1 will probably be 3.5 years, a time of Relative peace with the following 3.5 years being war and destruction ending at Armageddon, Revelation 19:19-21.The Sword from the mouth of Christ will be the Sword of Zechariah, 14-12-15.
ZECHARIAH 14:12–And this shall be the plague with which Jehovah will strike all the peoples who have fought against Jerusalem: THEIR FLESH SHALL ROT WHILE THEY STAND ON THEIR FEET, AND THEIR EYES WILL ROT IN THEIR SOCKETS, AND THEIR TONGUES SHALL ROT IN THEIR MOUTHS.
ZECHARIAH 14:13–And it shall be in that day, a great panic of Jehovah shall be among them; and they shall each one lay hold of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
The Rotting here will be a result of GREAT HEAT coming from the PRESENCE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THE BREATH OF HIS MOUTH, 2Thessalonians 2:8.
Revelation chapter 6 appears to be a summary, an outline with the following chapters providing details. The Riders of the four horses are probably not persons but rather symbolic here with the riders and horses representing events, circumstances which are spreading around Planet Earth due to decisions made by Anti-Christ who is Satan and is being implemented by the False Prophet and the Beast and their subordinates. Revelation 6:1 is the beginning of hostilities starting with anti-Christ. This cannot happen until the one restraining is taken out of the way, 2Thesssalonians 2:7-8 which will occur at the Church Rapture with the “Body of Christ” including the Head who is Christ, Ephesians 1:19-23.
The first 3.5 year segment of the 7 year period, the 70th week of the prophet Daniel will be relatively safe and peaceful with the last 3.5 year segment being the WRATH OF SATAN and the responding WRATH OF GOD which will end at Armageddon, Daniel 8:23-25, Daniel 9:27, Daniel 12:11-12.
Satan’s forces are acting in desperation and have no chance of winning. Those that are with Christ at Armageddon, Revelation 19-11-21, appear to be observers only, 2Thessalonians 2:8, Daniel 8:25.
The one restraining is most likely the BODY OF CHRIST the Church, 1Corinthians Chapter 12 who is empowered by the Spirit of Christ who is Jehovah, Romans 12:4-8 but in HIS CAPACITY as the Holy Spirit.
The different names of God are the revealed aspects of His person and identify His different ministries. A woman can be a wife, a mother, an executive, etc; and they are different aspects of her person not revealed simultaneously or consecutively but when needed. Babies know who their Mommy is but they do not appreciate her other qualities. Baby Christians are the same way, saved children but not knowing God their father as revealed in the Bible. No one knows it all and we are all still learning as children who will inherit and need to know a Father who never changes.
Many people tell God how to be God but He is as He has always been and will never change but His programs, known to Him before the ages began, change to different phases throughout history with many foretold by His Prophets.
Jesus is not God He is the CHOSEN PREPARED BODY OF GOD, Hebrews 10:5, Genesis 3:15, Luke 3:23-38. The invisible God became visible in His Humanity. He, Jesus is the express image of God who cannot change. We can change and become like Jesus with the WORD OF GOD in us and the BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT UPON US becoming JOINT HEIRS with Jesus through faithfulness.
Revelation 6:12 appears to be the beginning of the wrath of God against those dwelling on planet Earth.
God’s wrath here is designed to encourage repentance and many do repent.
Satan will be thrown out of God’s Heaven, Revelation 12:7-9 in the middle, 3.5 years, of the 70th week. Knowing that he has a short time he will make a big move against Israel and will murder 2/3rd’s of the Israelis who are in the land, Zachariah 12:9-10, 13:6-9.
During this time many Jews and Gentiles will not receive the mandatory MARK OF THE BEAST and will be martyred, murdered by anti-Christ.
Satan , A PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR is a spirit and works through the SONS OF DISOBEDIENCE, Ephesians 2:2.
Satan is capable of entering and using animal and human forms who are WILLING SUBJECTS as in Satan worshipers, anti-Christ and the Prince of Tyre, Ezekiel chapter 28 who has a Human Body, see verse 9.
Satan works calamity such as we have been enduring through tornadoes, hurricanes, fire and drought and sickness as he did in the book of Job chapter one and two.
When the Apostle Paul turned the redeemed man, 1Corinthians 5:5 over to Satan he was exposing him to Satan’s WRATH against Christians.
Ephesians 6:1–Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right.
Ephesians 6:2–Honour thy father and mother which is the first commandment with promise.
Ephesians 6:3–That it may be well with thee, 3John 1:2 and THOU MAYEST LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH.
3John 1:2–Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prospereth.
God does not sanction calamity but our problem comes when God does not stop a calamity which is part of our education in Righteousness versus Evil leading to repentance and blessing.
We have volition and intellect and we can choose either Good or Evil. The martyrs who refuse the MARK OF THE BEAST will be murdered but will have made the right choice.
The Post Rapture Church will not face this choice but we may face other choices perhaps martyrdom as the early Christians did and some still do, if the Lord tarries.
Satan has two main operatives here on planet Earth who will be revealed sometime during the 7 years and they are the FALSE PROPHET, Revelation 13:11 and the SEVENTH KING Revelation 17:10 who is anti-Christ who has authority over the Beast as head of the Revived Roman Empire, Revelation 13:4 currently called the E.U, European Union, Revelation 16:13-16 and he will work through them and their subordinates.
Oddly, the previous President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was born a Jew but wants to destroy Israel as his loyalty is to Satan and not to Yahweh, Jehovah.
A photograph of the Iranian president holding up his identity card during elections in March 2008 clearly shows his family has Jewish roots. A close-up of the document reveals he was previously known as Sabourjian a Jewish name meaning Cloth Weaver.
The false prophet will have some of his characteristics and may come from the dispersed Israelis who are all over the world since 70 A.D and even much earlier times.
The Rapture!
Hebrews 11:5–BY FAITH ENOCH WAS TAKEN AWAY WITHOUT EXPERIENCING DEATH. He could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he won approval as one who pleased God.
1Corinthians 15:51–Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Corinthians 15:52–In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall all be changed.
1Thessalonians 4:13–But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others, UNBELIEVERS , WHICH HAVE NO HOPE.
1Thessalonians 4:13-18 is a description of the Church, the BODY OF CHRIST being Raptured, caught up to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air.
After the Rapture, the nation of Israel will again become God’s ambassadors to planet Earth and they will suffer immensely for 3.5 years followed by the AGE OF ISRAEL for 1000 years.
There is very little controversy in Christianity concerning the rapture as the scripture is quite plain here. YES, there is a Church Rapture, see 1Thessalonians 4:15-18 below.
Where the argument lays is in the timing. Some understand it to be before the 70th week of Daniel and some in the middle of the 70th week at the 3.5 years interval and some think that it will occur at the end of the 70th week meaning we would go through the entire tribulation period.
Without going into all of the pro and con arguments let me say that it will occur prior to the 70th week of Daniel and that there are no reasonable arguments against that position.
1Thessalonians 4:14–For IF (Greek if=Since or because) we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, believe this also that, them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
Sleeping here means that their body sleeps but their soul and spirit are alive with Jesus in the 3rd Heaven and they will return with Jesus and they will be united with their new body with the old body being merely the seed, 1Thessalonians 5:9-10, 2Corinthians 5:6-9, 1Corinthians 15:35-58.
1Thessalonians 4:15–For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent, precede, them which are asleep meaning our Bodies will all be changed, resurrected together.
1Thessalonians 4:16–For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Thessalonians 4:17–Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Thessalonians 4:18–WHEREFORE, COMFORT ONE ANOTHER WITH THESE WORDS.
I find no comfort in living under GOD’S WRATH, dodging the bullets so to speak. As God removed Noah and his family saving them from the flood, God will remove the Church saving us from the WRATH OF SATAN, Revelation 12:12 and from the time of GOD’S WRATH, Revelation 6:16-17, 16:16-21, 1Thessalonians 1:10, 1Thessalonians 5:9, Revelation 4:1.
