EXPLICIT BIBLE TRUTH
Jesus
Who is he
 What is he
Why is he

Isaiah chapter 28:

10**For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.

Matthew chapter 7:

8**For everyone who keeps asking will receive, and the person who keeps searching will find, and the person who keeps knocking will have the door opened.

Romans chapter 5:

19**For as through the one man’s disobedience (Adam) the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One (man, Jesus) the many will be made righteous.

Righteousness is the gift of God, Romans 3:21-24, Ephesians 2:8-10.

“Discipline to Destruction”

Isaiah, a prophet to Israel, 700 B.C.

Isaiah chapter 6:

1**In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

2**Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. Compare Revelation 4:7-8.

3**And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!”, Romans 1:18-20.

4**And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.

The first time I read Isaiah 6:4 was more than 32 years ago.

I had just made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and then I was water baptized and joined a local Baptist Church, 1Peter 3:21.

Shortly thereafter I was unable to sleep one night and decided to read my Bible. I simply opened it and began reading. I opened to about chapter 5 in Isaiah. By the time I read to Isaiah 6:4, see: above, I had lighted and was smoking a cigarette and I, a house of God was filled with smoke, 1Peter 2:5, surprise, maybe coincidence I thought?

By the time I read as far as Isaiah 6:8, see: below, and contemplated for some time if I should do anything, I decided to volunteer Just as Isaiah had done. I then thought; my, that was interesting.

NO, I did not have a vision of God as Isaiah had seeing God high and lifted up but what I saw in scripture in the Bible was the majesty of God high and lifted up with Calvary being an example of that, John 3:14. The Lord of John 3:14 is the same lord in Isaiah 6:1. The Lord of Isaiah 6:1 became flesh in the Virgin born Son of God, Deuteronomy 18:18-19.

5**And I (Isaiah) said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!”

6**Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

7**And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”

Looking forward to Calvary, God has always excused the sins of His elect, see also: 1John 1:5-10, 1John 2:2.

8**And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I (Isaiah) said, “Here am I! Send me.”

What bothered me the most was Isaiah 6:9-10, see below. I thought; surely that cannot be the right message. The Church will not be like that! It turned out that I was very wrong.

One day before I was married, I was cleaning the house and listening to Christian music. I reached down and picked up a Church bulletin and flipped it over and it had pictures of little Children.  At the exact time I flipped the bulletin over a song came on the F.M stereo “Jesus loves the little Children”. The following Sunday a deacon friend said they had chosen me to teach the children’s class. I did not apply for a teaching position so I was surprised and a little awed.

My first teaching job, shortly after my encounter with Isaiah chapter six, was with children which did not last long. I was soon transferred to adult teaching. What I discovered was the adults did not know any more than the children knew. I was teaching adults that should have been teaching me, Hebrews 5:11-14, Matthew 13:10-17.

Hopefully; you are not offended by this but you are the ones being instructed by God’s word and you are reading your Bible and walking with the Lord on the straight and narrow path, Ephesians 2:10. All Christians do some wrong things. We start out having been given eternal life, Ephesians 1:13. We learn how to walk by means of our regenerated Spirit and to deny the deeds of the flesh. As long as we are in the flesh, we struggle, Romans 7:24-25.

The fault is with the volition of the person and not with God. Many prefer Evil. SEE: 2Thessalonians 2:1-17.

A wake up message of sarcasm that is and will be ignored!

9**And he said, “Go, and say to this people: “‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’

10**Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”

11**Then I said, “How long, O Lord?” (how long shall this message be preached to Israel) And he said: “Until cities lie waste without inhabitant, and houses without people, and the land is a desolate waste,

12**and the LORD removes people (Israel) far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.

Israel was attacked and defeated by foreign powers at different times and conquered by the Babylonians about 600 B.C and then finally by the Romans about 63 B.C. who called it Palestine.

13**And though a tenth remain in it, it will be burned again, like a terebinth or an oak, whose stump remains when it is felled.” The holy seed is its stump, Luke 13:6-9.

This destruction has also happened and was accomplished by the Romans in 70 a.d, Daniel 9:26. See also: Daniel 9:27 for the 70th week, the Tribulation period.

Matthew chapter 13:

13**Because of this, I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

14**And the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled on them, which says, “In hearing you will hear and in no way understand, and seeing you will see yet in no way perceive.

15**For the heart of this people has grown fat, and they heard heavily with the ears, and they have closed their eyes, that they not see with the eyes, or hear with the ears, and understand with the heart, and be converted, and I heal them.” Isaiah 6:9-10

16**But your eyes are blessed because they see; and your ears because they hear.

We have the Spirit of God and the written Word of God with eye witness testimony’s, 2Peter 1:16.

Do not separate faith and faithfulness!
