1Corinthians chapter 14:29*Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment.
30*But if a REVELATION is made to another who is seated, let the first (the one who was speaking) keep silent (and let the one receiving the REVELATION speak).
The prophets of God are teachers as well as foretellers and they receive revelation or illumination from the Holy Spirit. Illumination gives us comprehension of already revealed information such as the Church Rapture, 1Corinthians 15:51, Hebrews 11:5, Acts 16:14.
Acts chapter 15:
32*Judas and Silas, ALSO BEING PROPHETS themselves, encouraged and strengthened the brethren with a LENGTHY MESSAGE (NOT a lengthy foretelling prophecy).
REVELATION always means the UNVEILING OF A MYSTERY meaning knowledge that was here-to-fore not revealed is now being revealed, 1Corinthians 15:51.
There have been no recorded foretelling prophecies from God since the death of John the last living Apostle of Jesus, the Lamb of God, Revelation 21:14. John recorded the REVELATION the last book of the Bible. Revelation 10:4 was revealed to the Apostle John but not yet to us but will be revealed during the “Great Tribulation” period.
The Old Testament Bible Prophecies are the credentials of the true messiah WHO IS JESUS CHRIST, John 5:39 and 43, Revelation 19:10.
God has preplanned everything that He will do and He foreknows everything that His created beings can do and will do with 100% accuracy and recall for all that is done. Like acts in a play, everything is being played out for our knowledge and benefit as well as for the Elect Angels as we are not ALL KNOWING but learn from seeing, hearing and experience by circumstance.
The Eternal God is the Father of Spirits. He is a loving God, a just God, a righteous God, He is not a Fiend. Romans chapter 11 is about foreknowledge and opportunity in the plan of God. God only rejects people after they have rejected Him meaning the Door of Grace is open to all, John 16:7-11.
He, God, the “Great I AM” foreknows all and encourages all but makes provision for those who will turn to Him, Romans 8:29.
Everything that is currently going on is for the learning and future benefit of the redeemed of God, James 2:5.
Adam and Eve did not heed God’s warning so it became necessary for them, the source and patterns for subsequent generations to learn by consequence giving our volition the information it needs to make intelligent choices meaning Evil destroys and that is where we are today and that is why we are all under the umbrella of discipline. This is also part of the ETERNAL PLAN and as usual God causes all things to work for good for those who love, AGAPE God meaning God is the HERO, PREIMMINENT one of the Sanctified.
If we self discipline then we escape the discipline of the Lord and become observers rather than participants, 1John 5:1-3, Revelation 3:10-11, John 15:5-12.
MARTYRDOM is something many Christians have endured and will endure in the future, Revelation 2:10 and 20:4.
Jesus Christ, after His 2nd coming at Armageddon will rule in the “Kingdom of Heaven” which will last for 1000 years with the redeemed of God as administrators of righteousness and Holy Angels as Law Enforcement.
After 1000 years and the “Great White Throne” Judgment the SIN problem will be resolved and the winners by Grace, the redeemed will rule over God’s creation, the “New Heaven and Earth” by righteousness. The commandments of God will be known and revered, respected by all with no fear of retribution. Law Enforcement, Revelation 21:12 the Angels will check I.D’s and everyone knows and respects that.
Revelation chapter 10:
7*But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the MYSTERY OF GOD IS FINISHED, AS HE ANNOUNCED TO HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS.
Verse 10:11 Indicates that the prophets of verse 10:7 are Old Testament Prophets.
11*And they *said to me, “You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.”
Revelation chapter 11 is post rapture and the beginning of the last 7 years of the Daniel 9 prophecy of 490 years of God dealing with planet earth though Israel including the 2 prophets and the 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel.
The nation Israel was temporarily set aside as God’s Representatives to the world for the dispensation of the “Age of the Gentiles”, Romans11:25-33.
After the Church Rapture Israel will again be God’s Representatives in the world for 7 years which is the 70th week of the Prophet Daniel 9:25-27.
Sixty nine, 69 weeks, Daniel 9:26 were completed on the first Palm Sunday, Luke19:28-44.
All prophecy from this point forward will be new and understood by all as they will be living in that time period of 7 years. Daniel 9:24, Daniel 12:8-13, Revelation 10:8-11 including Revelation 10:4 as they will hear the voice of the 7 thunders.
Hebrews chapter 4:
12*For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart,
13*and there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and lay bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
The Law cannot save us but the Law is still the measure of Righteousness and Sin, the standard of excellent conduct, the Law of freedom for a free people, Matthew 5:17-19, 1Peter 2:16.
1Chronicles chapter 28:
9*“As for you, my son Solomon, KNOW the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart, Luke 10:25-27 and a willing mind; for the LORD SEARCHES ALL HEARTS, and understands every intent of the thoughts. IF YOU SEEK HIM, HE WILL LET YOU FIND HIM; but if you forsake Him, HE WILL REJECT YOU FOREVER, Acts 17:26-27.
The Gospel was initially rejected by Saul of Tarsus, Acts 6:8 to Acts 8:3 but later Jesus explained it to him in a very profound way so that Saul’s hard head understood, Acts 9:1-22.
Saul then came to understand that Jesus had the authority of God and was the Messiah, the Christ, the Anointed of God.
If Saul had rejected Jesus at the Acts 9:1-22 encounter then he, Saul probably would have been rejected by God.
BUT, God foreknew Saul and the saved thief at Calvary who was at death’s door and so they become examples for us not to give up on people; family, friends or strangers.
Saul, a murderer of Christians, became the Apostle Paul, a servant of God, a New Testament writer for the Holy Spirit, Acts 16:13-14.
GOOD EXAMPLES:
1Peter chapter 2:
12*Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may on account of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the DAY OF VISITATION, John 16:8.
1Peter chapter 3:
1*In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands (moral request, be subordinant) so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they MAY be won without a word by the behavior of their wives.
Saul of Tarsus was DECEIVED by his human nature as are many other people, 1Corinthians 2:12-16.
False teachers who have the WORD OF GOD but like to preach HUMAN VIEW POINT distort the meaning by deceptively translating and ignoring Scripture such as Isaiah 7:14, Daniel 9:23-27, Psalm 22, Psalm 16:10.
The Holy Spirit opened the eyes of Saul’s understanding and he became the Apostle Paul, one of the conduits for God’s Word in the New Testament, New covenant, New contract.
Saul is the person of the flesh and the Apostle Paul is the new person of the Spirit just as Jacob was renamed Israel, Genesis 32:26-32, Revelation 3:17.
After Saul’s conversion to the Apostle Paul, he spent 3 years in Damascus, Galatians 1:15-19 before meeting with the Apostle Peter. My assumption is that Paul spent that time studying the Old Testament Scriptures with illumination by the Holy Spirit.
Saul had studied the Old Testament Scriptures for much of his adult life but without illumination from God he had a distorted understanding.
God’s objective was the completion of the Scriptures by adding the New Testament through the writings of Paul and others, 1Corinthians 13:9-10.
THE FINAL TEXT:
Acts chapter 1:
7*He, Jesus said to them, (the Apostles) it is not yours to know times or seasons which the Father placed in His own authority;
8*BUT you will receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you, and you will be WITNESSES OF ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the END, REMOTEST PART OF THE EARTH (through their written word from their EYE-WITNESS testimony).
After the deaths of the New Testament writers their written word remained and the Holy Spirit, the teacher and source of their word is with us to this day.
Luke was a Gospel writer and the Acts writer, Acts 1:1-3 and the chronicler and companion, fellow worker of the Apostle Paul, Colossians 4:14.
Mark, a Gospel writer is the cousin and companion of the Apostle Peter and companion of the Apostle Paul, Colossians 4:10, 2Timothy 4:11.
James and Jude are epistle writers and brothers of Jesus according to the flesh as they have the same Mother, Galatians 1:19, Jude 1:1, Mark 6:3, Matthew 13:55, John 2:12.
Some false teachers were and still are called GNOSTICS meaning they claim to have special knowledge. Their writings are sometimes called the “Black Bible”.
Writings after John, the last living Apostle were excluded from our Bible as they either contradict our Bible and/or were not considered to be inspired of God the Holy Spirit, 2Timothy 3:16-17, 1Peter 1:10-12, 2Peter 1:21.
Those who hear AND UNDERSTAND the GOSPEL and reject God’s GOOD NEWS will spend eternity in the “LAKE OF FIRE”.
REJECTION of the Gospel is an act of SELF WILL, Acts 17:29-34. Children of God in Acts 17:29 are Acts 17:26 children and are not yet born again, Ephesians 1:3-4, Hebrews 4:3 and 4:12-13, 1Peter 1:20.
The Blood of Jesus covers all sins committed by mankind. The people that go to the “Lake of Fire” will do so with their sins paid for but with an Evil volition intact, 1John 1:7-10 meaning they love evil and hate righteousness, Romans 1:18-32.
Repentance from Sins is an attitude adjustment. WALKING WITH JESUS removes us from discipline or the threat of discipline, Hebrews chapter 12.
The UN-REDEEMED of mankind will be resurrected for judgment at the “Great White Throne”. They will be judged by their works, Romans 2:14-16, John 5:28-29.
If anyone survives and there will be survivors, it will be because of the Grace of God meaning that God wants to save them and He is able to do so as it is the heart of mankind that is telling, meaning; Evil HEARTS reject the GRACE OF GOD which is NOT BY WORKS, Ephesians 2:10, John 5:28-29, Romans chapter 2, Matthew 5:7, Jeremiah 17:9-10.
WORKS ARE MEASURED BY THE
COMMANDMENTS OF GOD.
1Peter chapter 2:
1*Therefore, rid yourselves of every kind of evil and deception, hypocrisy, jealousy, and every kind of slander.
2*Like newborn babies, THIRST FOR THE PURE MILK OF THE WORD so that by it you may GROW IN YOUR SALVATION.
3*Surely you have tasted that the Lord is good!
4*As you come to him, THE LIVING STONE who was rejected by people but was chosen and precious in God’s sight,
THE LOCAL CHURCH MESSAGE:
5*you, too, AS LIVING STONES, are building yourselves up into a spiritual house and a HOLY PRIESTHOOD, so that you may offer SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES that are acceptable to God through Jesus, the Messiah.
SPIRITUAL SACRIFICE:
Hebrews chapter 13:
15*Through Jesus let us continually offer up a SACRIFICE OF PRAISE TO GOD, that is, THE FRUIT OF LIPS that acknowledge His NAME (His works of creation, administration and redemption, Etc;).
16*Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
WORSHIP:
John chapter 4:
23*“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit (a regenerated spirit, 1Corinthians 2:12-16) and truth (the Bible, God’s word, John 17:17); for SUCH PEOPLE the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
24*”God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
1Peter chapter 2:
6*This is why it says in Scripture: “Look! I am laying a chosen, precious cornerstone in Zion. THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NEVER BE ASHAMED.” (as the Lord will bring all things to pass and the Church, the “Body of Christ” will be exalted).
7*Therefore He is precious to you who believe, but to those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone, Isaiah 28:16
8*a stone they stumble over and a rock they trip on.” They keep on stumbling as they were destined to do because they disobey the word.
People try to reconcile God’s Word, the Bible with their subjective point of view but like Cinderella’s slipper it does not fit.
9*But you (the Church) are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people to be His very own and to proclaim the wonderful deeds of the one who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
10*Once you (the Church, the “Body of Christ”) were not a people, but now you are the people of God. Once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
The “BODY OF CHRIST, the CHURCH”
The CHURCH whose head is Christ is universal, non denominational faithful saints by calling, Romans 8:28-29 and “Sons of God” who began as children and are advancing toward maturity. The Church is Spiritual but still in living flesh having no gender or status or nationality with different members having different functions. When members pass out of their HUMAN Body they are immediately with Christ Jesus in the third Heaven with new Spirit Baptized members taking their place, 1Corinthians 15:29. The “Body of Christ, the Church” has been here since Pentecost and is constantly refreshed by new members but will depart at the Church Rapture and Israel will again be God’s emissary, contact in the World for 7 years, Romans chapter 11. Jesus Christ will rule the World for 1000 years, post Armageddon the final War, from Jerusalem.
WALKING WITH JESUS:
1Peter chapter 2:
11*DEAR FRIENDS, I URGE YOU AS ALIENS AND EXILES TO KEEP ON ABSTAINING FROM THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH THAT WAGE WAR AGAINST THE SOUL.
12*CONTINUE TO LIVE SUCH UPRIGHT LIVES AMONG THE GENTILES THAT, WHEN THEY SLANDER YOU AS PRACTICERS OF EVIL, THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD ACTIONS AND GLORIFY GOD WHEN HE VISITS THEM, JOHN 16:8.
13*For the Lord’s sake submit yourselves to every human authority: whether to the king as supreme,
14*or to governors who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to praise those who do right.
15*For it is God’s will that by doing right you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.
16*LIVE LIKE FREE PEOPLE, Romans 8:1-2, Galatians 5:13 and do not use your freedom as an excuse for doing evil. Instead, BE GOD’S SERVANTS.
17*Honor everyone. Keep on loving the community of believers, fearing God, and honoring the king.
18*You household servants must submit yourselves to your masters out of respect, not only to those who are kind and fair, but also to those who are unjust.
19*For it is a fine thing if, when MOVED BY YOUR CONSCIENCE to please God, you suffer patiently when wronged.
20*What good does it do if, when you Sin, you patiently receive punishment for it? But if you suffer for doing good and receive it patiently, you have God’s approval.
21*This is, in fact, what you were called to do, because: The Messiah also suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in his steps.
22*”He never sinned, and he never told a lie.”
23*When he was insulted, he did not retaliate. When he suffered, he did not threaten. It was his habit to commit the matter to the one who judges fairly.
24*”He himself bore our sins” in his body on the tree, so that we might DIE TO THOSE SINS AND LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY. “By his wounds you have been healed.”
25*You were “like sheep that kept going astray,” but now you have returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
