Faith to Repent

EXPLICIT BIBLE TRUTH
Jesus
Who  is he
What is he
 Why  is he

Isaiah 28:10 For precept  must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line,  line upon line; here a little, and there a little: KJV
Matthew 7:8 For everyone who keeps asking will receive, and the person who keeps searching will find, and the person who keeps knocking will have the door opened. ISV
Romans 5:19 For as through the one man’s disobedience (Adam) the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One (man, Christ Jesus) the many will be made  righteous (righteousness is the gift of God, Rom. 3:21-24, Eph. 2:8-10, ISV, KJV).

TODAY’S comments
“Faith to Repent”

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today
      and forever.

Hebrews 13:9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings,
for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by

foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them.

God has always been the same, Malachi 3:6, and the rules for salvation have never changed, that is “Faith in the Righteous God”, Romans 4:1-3 and 4:23-25. Obedience to the revealed will of God in the Scriptures as seen through the Gospel which is repentance meaning: change your mind and tune into righteousness which results in the “Gift of eternal life” and eventually total peace and contentment.

Jesus Christ was foreknown and predestined by God to pay for the sin’s of the world by His righteous life and obedience to God through Calvary allowing for us “repentance toward God”. Repentance toward God does not mean that we will never sin again but rather we have changed our mind and will to follow the righteous God.

All people are exposed to Good and Evil during their lifetime and all believers participate in both.

Ephesians 2:1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins

Ephesians 2:2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince (Satan, formerly Lucifer) of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience–

Ephesians 2:3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great
      love
with which he loved us,

Ephesians 2:5 even when (come as you are) we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ–by grace you have been saved–

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD,
      choose
you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods
      which your
fathers, Acts 7:42-54, served that were on the
      other side of
the river (Jordan), or the gods of the
      Amorites (this side of the
Jordan river) in whose land ye
      dwell (the Gods of the
 Amorites could not resist Jehovah):
but as for me and my house,
we will serve the LORD (Jehovah),
(Joshua is the Hebrew name for Jesus).

These are choices made by us through our volition or free will. Living by the rules of darkness will possibly result in short term gain with future heartache and destroyed lives and in the end, destruction!

The God of Levi, see below, is Jehovah (YHWH, I am who I am) also called the LORD (The English name for Jehovah), also called “God the Word”, John 1:1, Ezekil 14:12, Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6. These are all titles for the agent of God who is from God and who is God but not all of God, John 1:1 and John 1:10,14, who created the universe by oral command and made the infrastructure of planet Earth including mankind who was formed, made complete with dust, from existing material; whose substance is minerals and water. The same dust when processed through a tree or plant produces fruit and vegetables.

Each name/title is a focal point showing the different attributes of the Creator God with LORD being the English form of the Greek word Kurios, for Jehovah.

When Jesus Christ returns to planet Earth for Armageddon he will ride under His name/title “The Word of God”, Rev. 19:13.

The immutable, unchangeable God who is Spirit, John 4:24, never changes His mind and He never reverses Himself even though His agenda may seem to change as announced through New Covenants, New Testaments. The omniscient, all knowing God knew the end before the beginning, before Genesis to the final kingdom, the Kingdom of God and beyond into eternity future that never ends. We are in process, Romans 8:29.

When the Creator God became flesh, dying at Calvary He gained a new name/title “Jesus Christ” (the anointed Jesus, by “Christ Jesus” and “God the Word” incarnate, in the flesh, the Lamb of God) who is “God in the Flesh”, Philippians 2:5-11.

Death means separation of the Spirit from the body, James 2:5, with the body decaying to dust. Jesus Christ is the exception and is and will remain in His resurrected glorified human body forever with the nail and spearhead scars always visible, John 20:27.

All raptured believers will receive a new eternal powerful glorified human body with the old decayed or living body being a seed only, 1Corinthians 15:37-44. DNA, a seed is thought to contain each body blue print.

Grace has always been God’s way of saving all people.

God is our source for all Bible Scripture and has directed us to rightly divide His Word for accurate understanding.

The written Word of God and the Spirit of God give us illumination.

The immutable God, recorded about 400 b.c

Malachi 2:5 “My covenant with him (Levi) was one of life and
       peace,
and I gave them to him as an object of reverence
       (fear, respect);
so he revered Me, and stood in awe of My name.

Malachi 2:6 “True instruction was in his mouth, and
unrighteousness was not found on his lips; he walked with Me
in peace and uprightness, and he turned many back from iniquity.

Malachi 2:7 “For the lips of a priest should preserve knowledge,
and men should seek instruction from his mouth; for he is the
messenger (Angel, see Rev. 1:20) of the LORD of hosts, (God).

Malachi 2:8 “But as for you (Priest of Israel), you have turned
aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble by the
instruction; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi,” says
the
LORD of hosts, (God).

Malachi 2:9 “So I also have made you (Priest of Israel) despised
and abased before all the people (Israel), just as you are
not
keeping
My ways, but are showing partiality in the
instruction.

The above Problems are in many Local Churches today, 2Timothy 4:3-4, Malachi 2:8-9.

Church mission in the world

1Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and
hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

1Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word,
that ye may grow thereby:

From there we advance beyond milk to solid food, Hebrews 5:12-14.

Romans 15:2 Each of us must please our neighbor (in the “Body of
Christ”, the Church) for the good purpose of building him up.

Also; don’t throw trash in your next door neighbors yard but help him as you are able when requested.

Romans 15:3 For even Christ did not please himself. Instead, as it
is written, “The insults of those who insult you (God) have
fallen on me.”

Romans 15:4 For everything that was written long ago (5 books of
Moses, Psalms, and the Prophets) was written for our (the
“Body of Christ”) instruction, so that we might have hope
through the endurance and encouragement that the Scriptures
give us.

Romans 15:5 Now may God, the source of endurance and
encouragement, allow you to live in harmony with each
other as you follow Christ Jesus (Christ Jesus is the head of the
“Body of Christ”, the Church), Ephesians 5:23.

The Elect of God

1Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who
are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of
God.

1John 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has
       been
born of Godand everyone who loves the Father loves
       whoever
has
been born of him.

1Jn 3:10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil
are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is
not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.
See: 1John 3:1-24

John 3:36 The one believing into the Son has (already has) ever
lasting life; but the
one disobeying the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God remains on him, Deuteronomy 18:18-19.

The very public Gospel

Acts 20:20 how I (the Apostle Paul) did not shrink from declaring
       to
you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public
       and
from house to house,

Acts 20:21 testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance
toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Repentance toward God” is the Gospel preached to the World at large, see below: Acts 17:30-31, Ezekiel 14:6, with faith in our Lord Jesus Christ received only by the repentant, the Church, as; those not born of God will not and cannot believe on Christ, see above: 1Corinthians 1:18 and 1John 5:1.

Many people such as Cornelius and Lydia and the Eunuch were already repentant and only needed to hear about “Faith in Christ”, Luke 15:7. Many people who walk the aisles of churches today to confess Christ are repentant and need water baptism as an adjunct to their faith but they are the Elect of God and are motivated by the Holy Spirit to go forward, Matthew 10:32, meaning: come as you are as the Apostle Paul did. Saul of Tarsus, a very misdirected Jew who became the Apostle Paul would have marched straight into Hell but God forcefully intervened in his life and as a result Saul repented, changed his mind and God changed his entire destiny, Acts 9:3-20.

Message of the Unrepentant

John 3:19 “And this is the judgment, that the light is come
into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than
the light; for their deeds were evil.

John 3:20 “For everyone who does (practices) evil hates the
light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds
should be exposed (no repentance here).

Acts 17:29 Being then God’s offspring (from Adam,
1Cor15:21-22), we ought not to think that the divine being
is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art
and imagination of man.

Acts 17:30 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now
He commands
all people everywhere to repent (from
Idolatry; Allah, Darwinism, coveting, favorable world
system focus etc;),

Act 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will
judge the world in
righteousness by that man whom he hath
ordained;
whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in
that He hath raised him from the dead.

The world system provides fuel for the lust of the flesh, the pride of life and the pride of the eyes and great sorrow.

While we may be scientist, engineers or house wives we need none of the above. Prosperity through Godly attitudes brings fulfillment with contentment. Yes, we still work for what we want, Psalm 1:1-6.

2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some
count slowness, but is patient toward you (human race),
not wishing that any should perish, but that all should
reach
repentance.

2Timothy 2:24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome
but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,

2Timothy 2:25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God
may perhaps grant them
repentance leading to knowledge
of the truth
Acts 16:14,

2Timothy 2:26 and they may come to their senses and escape
from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to
do his will.

The Church is directed

1Timothy 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and thanksgivings be made
for all people,

1Timothy 2:2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we
may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every
way.

1Timothy 2:3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God
our Savior,

1Timothy 2:4 who desires all people to be saved and to come
to the knowledge of the truth.

1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator
between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

1Timothy 2:6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the
testimony given at the proper time.

By God’s foreknowledge

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things
work together for good, for those who are called according to
his purpose.

Romans 8:29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to
be
conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be
the firstborn among many brothers.

Romans 8:30 And those whom he predestined he also called,
and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he
justified he also glorified.

Romans 9:18 So then He (God) has mercy on whomever
He wills, and He hardens whomever He wills.

Hardening begins with the individual who refuses to repent. Some like Pharaoh repent for the short term due to outside pressure as do some Jail inmates when confined and forced to comply but many do not have a change of heart and return to their former ways when released.

In God’s foreknowledge God knew who would repent for the long term as Saul of Tarsus who became the Apostle Paul and those that would not endure, compare: Matt.13:18-23.

We all have intellect and volition and the omniscient, all knowing God has foreknowledge and magnifies their hardness.

God is willing that none should perish but in His foreknowledge He knows and foretells and demonstrates in Scripture that many will perish. Only those made righteous by God’s process, Romans 8:29, Ephesians 2:10, after repentance will enter the kingdom of God, the Eternal Kingdom. All those that follow Jesus Christ are led by the Holy Spirit to do so.

Yes, we are not yet perfect but we have a merciful God who will complete the work He has began in you, Philippians 1:6.

Ephesians 4:17 Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you
     must
no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility
     (ignorance) of
their minds, (a problem in many Local
     Churches today).

Ephesians 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding,
alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance
that is in them, due to their (self)
hardness of heart.

Ephesians 4:19 They have become callous and have given
themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every
kind of impurity.
