KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM OVERCOME
JUNK SCIENCE, A SOURCE OF
IGNORANCE AND SUPERSTITUTION.
2Peter chapter 3:
15**Think of our Lord’s patience as facilitating salvation, just as our dear brother the Apostle Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him.
16**He speaks about this subject in all his letters. Some things in them are hard to understand which ignorant and unstable people distort as they do the rest of the Scriptures, leading to their own destruction.
17**And so, dear friends, since you already know these things, continually be on your guard not to be carried away by the deception of lawless people. Otherwise, you may fall from your secure position (to insecure ignorance).
18**Instead, CONTINUE TO GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Messiah. Glory belongs to him both now and on that eternal day! Amen.
COMMENTARY on knowledge:
The Vicar of Jesus Christ is the one who replaces Jesus Christ during the Church age. The Vicar is not a man. The Vicar is the Holy Spirit of God, John 16:7 who is the head of the Body of Christ, the Church which is NON DENOMINATIONAL, Ephesians 4:11-15 conforming us to the UNITY OF THE FAITH and He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, John 16:8-11.
There are only 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ, Revelation 21:14. The EYE WITNESS of Peter, John and Paul who was a late comer as well as other writers who were chosen by God is recorded in the Bible, 2Peter 1:19-21 and is spreading thru ought the world, Luke 24:48. Some Churches also appoint apostles but they do not have the authority of the 12. With the Word of God, the Bible before us and the Holy Spirit in us we are FACE TO FACE with God, 1Corinthians 13:8-13.
MATTHEW CHAPTER 5:
THE OLD TESTAMENT FOUNDATION:
See also 1John 2:1-8
17**”Do not think that I, Jesus Christ have come to destroy the law or the prophets. I have not come to destroy them but to fulfill them.
18**For truly I say to you, UNTIL heaven and earth pass away, 2Peter 3:10 not one tiny letter or one stroke of a letter will pass away from the law until all takes place.
COMMENTARY:
Heaven and Earth will pass away, see 2Peter 3:10 but the Word of God will never pass away, Luke 21:33. Every person of the first 4 resurrections and the survivors of the 5th resurrection will enter the Eternal KINGDOM OF GOD and they will never come under judgment again. The laws of God will be written on the hearts of ALL in the Eternal Kingdom, 2Corinthians 3:3.
Jesus is the only one currently resurrected. The Church Rapture will be the 2nd resurrection, Revelation 4:1. The two witnesses will be the 3rd resurrection and will then be Raptured, Revelation 11:11-12. The 1st resurrection is next, Revelation 20:3-5, which is the 4th in order and finally the 2nd resurrection, Revelation 20:12-15 which is 5th in order and the last resurrection. Daniel 12:1-3 is an over view for the Sons of Jacob some of which are included in 3 separate resurrections which are 2, 4, and 5 in order.
MATTHEW 5 CONTINUES
19**Therefore whoever abolishes one of the least of these commandments and teaches people to do so will be called least in the kingdom of Heaven, but whoever keeps them and teaches them, this person will be called great in the kingdom of Heaven.
20**For I say to you that unless your righteousness GREATLY SURPASSES that of the Scribes and Pharisees, you will NEVER ENTER into the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
COMMENTARY
The righteousness of Jesus Christ GREATLY SURPASSES the righteousness of the Scribes and the Pharisees and His righteousness is imputed to all who have the Faith of Abraham, Romans 4:1-8 including the last almost 2000 years of Church Age believers, both Jew and Gentile, John 5:24.
The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN will last for 1000 years and will begin when Jesus Christ returns at Armageddon with His Armies, Revelation 19:11 to 20:2 and takes possession of Planet Earth.
The Church Rapture will have occurred 7 years prior to that time. Men, women and children who may be resurrected as adults of the 1st MAJOR resurrection also called the 1st resurrection but is actually the 4th of 5 resurrections, Revelation 20:6 will then populate Planet Earth as well as those who survive the SEPARATION OF THE SHEEP AND GOATS, Matthew 25:31-46 who are those who live through the GREAT TRIBULATION and have shown Mercy to the Brothers of Jesus, the Son Of Man, Acts 3:22.
The survivors of the Sheep and Goat judgment will propagate, replenish the human population through natural birth by having children, human offspring.
The resurrected who are all Saints will have a new body that will not reproduce but they will all be administrators in the Kingdom of Heaven, Romans 8:18-19, Revelation 20:4.
Mortal death is actually the beginning and not the end. We move into the future leaving the past behind. Our mortal life, beginning at salvation is where our future prosperity is established but our eternal life is a Gift Of God, Ephesians 2:8, 1Corinthians 3:11-15.
The Raptured Saints will be as the Angels of God who can never die, Luke 20:34-36. They will be Raptured as SONS OF GOD, Romans 8:23 meaning they have been glorified, conformed to the image of Jesus Christ which is the WORD OF GOD IN US, 1Peter 1:23-25, John 1:14, Romans 8:29-30, 1Corinthians 2:16. The Spirit of God who indwells us uses the Bible as His text book and transfers comprehension, understanding to us, Acts 16:14, 1Corinthians 2:14-16.
Many people today believe that the 10 commandments have been superseded, replaced by Grace meaning the 10 commandments have been set aside and are no longer valid.
It is true that the 10 commandments cannot save us but they are still the standard of righteousness and they are the measure of sin meaning when we break a commandment of God we have sinned, 1John 5:1-5. In the future God’s commandments will be written on our hearts and they will be an integrated part of us. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, Romans 7:14-25.
Under the Grace of God we confess our sins, 1John 1:9 and we are forgiven for that transgression keeping us in fellowship with the Lord. All believers are priest, Revelation 1:6 (KJV), 1Peter 2:9-10 (God’s People, the Church). We confess, name our sin, 1John 1:9 and pray for those in authority and others, 1Timothy 2:1-6. We pray to God the Father in the Name of Jesus Christ with name meaning who He is and what He accomplished. The Holy Spirit who indwells us relays our prayer in the proper context, Romans 8:26 to the Throne of Grace where Jesus sets as intercessor for the redeemed, Romans 8:34. Others can also pray for us, James 2:8 and 5:16 and we can pray for them.
LUKE CHAPTER 10:
If we don’t understand mercy then we don’t understand
Christianity, Matthew 5:7, James 2:13 and 3:17, 1Peter 1:3.
25**And behold, a certain legal expert stood up to test him, saying, “Teacher, what must I do so that I will inherit eternal life?”
26**And he said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”
27**And he answered and said, “You shall love the Lord your God from all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
28**And he said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this and you will live”, Romans chapter 2.
God will not allow the merciful, Matthew 5:7 to go to destruction, the Lake of Fire but it is all by Grace as Good Works cannot save us. God wants to save all humans and made provision to do so. The unsaved have elected, chosen to ignore the redemption that God has provided for them as they love Evil, the wages of sin.
29**But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30**And Jesus replied and said, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell into the hands of robbers, who both stripped him and beat him. After inflicting blows on him, they went away, leaving him half dead.
31**Now by coincidence a certain priest was going down on that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.
32**And in the same way also a Levite, when he came down to the place and saw him, passed by on the opposite side.
33**But a certain Samaritan who was traveling came up to him and, when he saw him, had compassion.
34**And he came up and bandaged his wounds, pouring on olive oil and wine, and he put him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.
35**And on the next day, he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, and said, “Take care of him, and whatever you spend in addition, I will repay to you when I return.
36**Which of these three do you suppose became a neighbor of the man who fell among the robbers?”
37**So he said, “The one who showed mercy to him.” And Jesus said to him, “You go and do likewise.”
