Jesus
Who is He
What is He
Why is He
Length of Life:
Romans 8:10 If, since, seeing as how Christ, the Vicar of Jesus Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the, our spirit is alive because of righteousness,
Our spirit has been regenerated and is righteous but our soul needs to be washed by the water of the word, John 14:15-21, 1Corinthians 6:8-12.
If in this context should be translated since or seeing as how.
Vicar of Christ means the replacement for Jesus Christ who was âGod in the fleshâ. He, the Vicar, the replacement for Jesus Christ is also called the comforter, the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit and He is God and from God .
He is also the head of the “Body of Christ”, the Church which is composed of men and women of various ethenic and different “Local church groops” as per the new testament who were named after local areas, regions such as Galatia and Ephesus meaning select people of different denominations are an invisable church in any area or region but their area of service is in their denomination, local church and their service is to God, Ephesians 4:11-13.
When we meet, or connect with members of different denominations we recognize them through their speach as being believers even though our work of service is in a different meeting place.
The Trinity is one God in 3 persons. The one God is in three persons who show the different aspects of God with different names, titles to identify that person.
Romans 8:11 But if, since, seeing as how the Spirit, of the Vicar of Christ of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
We were born with a mortal body which will be raised from death as a spiritual body. This context conserns our living mortal body and has to do with length of days of mortal life.
Romans 8:12 So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh–
Romans 8:13 for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live, your mortal body shall live.
What I understand this to mean is we have a choice to live according to the desire, lust of the flesh or to walk with the Lord practicing righteousness which is measured by the commandments of God.
Longevity, length of life in the body of flesh that we were born with will happen to those Christians who walk with the Lord where as those Christians who walk as the world walks will die prematurely.
Likewise, these rules probably apply to those not in the Local Church as in Romans chapter 2, John 5: 28-29, Galatians 6:7-10.
This message from the Holy Spirit is being recorded by the Apostle Paul who did not die from years of age but was murdered by the Roman government as many Saints have been as well as by other âSons of Disobedienceâ who are temporarily in positions of authority.
We know the Apostle Paul was saved from death many times by the Lord our God.
The Peril’s of the Apostle Paul:
2Corinthians 11:23 Are they servants of Christ? (I speak as if insane) I more so; in far more labors, in far more imprisonments, beaten times without number, often in danger of death.
2Corinthians 11:24 Five times I received from the Jews thirty-nine lashes.
2Corinthians 11:25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep.
Stoned here was either to death or he was comatose from which He recovered or was resuscitated to mortal life either of which was a miracle as stoning was meant to be fatal and those who did the stoning thought he was dead.
He, the Apostle Paul lived in his mortal body until his ministry was completed, 2Timothy 4:6, Psalm 116:15.
2Corinthians 11:26 I have been on frequent journeys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my countrymen, dangers from the Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers on the sea, dangers among false brethren;
2Corinthians 11:27 I have been in labor and hardship, through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure.
2Timothy 4:17 But the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me, in order that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the lion’s mouth.
2Timothy 4:18 The Lord will deliver me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
The Holy Spirit speaking through the Apostle Peter:
1Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all like minded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, humble minded:
1Peter 3:9 not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessing; for hereunto were ye called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
1Peter 3:10 For, He that would love life, And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips that they speak no guile:
1Peter 3:11 And let him turn away from evil, and do good; Let him seek peace, and pursue it.
1Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, And his ears unto their supplication: But the face of the Lord is upon, against, not listening to them that do evil.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The Holy Spirit speaking through a proverb of Solomom:
Proverbs 3:1 My son, do not forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my commandments;
Proverbs 3:2 For length of days and years of life, And peace they will add to you.
Proverbs 3:3 Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.
Proverbs 3:4 So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.
Proverbs 3:8 It will be healing to your body, And refreshment to your bones.
Romans 8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Sons here in the Greek means mature children. Those children of God, those born of God have the options to advance to maturity or remain children who walk as the world walks will miss out on many blessings of God.
All who call upon the âName of the Lordâ who is Jesus Christ will be saved from the âLake of Fireâ but those who practice obedience to the Lord after initial salvation will be the ones who inherit the âEternal Kingdom of Godâ.
None of us have a perfect walk but we all have 1John 1:9 and repentance.
God is not looking for perfect people but rather He seeks those who seek or are willing to turn to righteousness.
Romans 8:15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
Jeremiah 25:29 For, behold, I begin to bring evil on the city on which is called My name, and shall you be found entirely without guilt? You shall not be without guilt. For I will call for a sword on all those living in the earth, says Jehovah of Hosts.
Matthew 10:34 Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Peace on earth will occur after the second coming during the âKingdom of Heavenâ which will last for 1000 years.
Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.”
Peace here is peace between God and Mankind through the peace offering of Jesus Christ whose blood covers the sins of all those who turn toward the righteous God, Acts 20:20-21.
God’s directions to Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 25:30 “Therefore you shall Prophesy against them all these words, and you shall say to them, ‘The LORD will roar from on high And utter His voice from His holy habitation; He will roar, like a Lion mightily against His fold. He will shout like those who tread the grapes, Against all the inhabitants of the earth, Rev 19:15.
Fold here is translated â Habitationâ in the KJV probably meaning a new but temporary habitation for 1000 years and is probably more accurate as the short context is about the second coming at Armageddon .
Fold here could also be a reference to Jeremiah 25:37 as seen below.
A clamor has come to the end of the earth:
Jeremiah 25:31 ‘A clamor has come to the end of the earth, Because the LORD has a controversy with the nations, Gentiles .
The end of the earth will occur at 2Peter 3:7,10 which will occur at the end of the 1000 year âDay of the Lordâ, âKingdom of Heavenâ.
He, Jesus Christ is entering into judgment with all flesh; As for the wicked, He has given them to the sword,’ declares the LORD.”
The sword has killed many people in the literal sense and is still used by eastern armies such as Islam as a weapon and symbolically.
The western armies use bayonets, swords fixed to rifles or in a sheath making it ready for use and has killed many as they have the advantage of being lethal and make no noise and they can be used repeatedly.
In the event of nuclear warfare many or most or all of our hi-tech weapons would be useless due to radiation, nuclear fallout or even by sun spots as our sun will be exceedingly hot during the final days leading up to Armageddon, Rev 16:8-9.
Hi-tech, post rapture, implies that a first strike is absolutely necessary, so who will do it??
Jeremiah 25:32 Thus says the LORD of hosts, “Behold, evil is going forth From nation to nation, And a great storm is being stirred up From the remotest parts of the earth.
Armageddon
Jeremiah 25:33 “Those slain by the LORD on that day will be from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be lamented, gathered or buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground.
The armies of the surviving nations of the earth will meet at Armageddon to take a spoil, possibly petroleum and/or potash a fertilizer and to decide by war which nation will control planet earth.
At that time Jesus Christ will destroy the armies of planet earth with the brightness of His coming, 2Thess 2:8.
The tongues of the armies of planet earth will melt in their mouth, the eyes in their sockets and their flesh upon their bones as they stand upon their feet meaning it will happen very swiftly, rapidly and they will have no defense to protect themselves.
Zechariah 14:12 Now this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have gone to war, Armageddon against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth.
Zechariah 14:13 It will come about in that day that a great panic from the LORD will fall on them; and they will seize one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be lifted against the hand of another.
The Kingdom of Heaven post Armageddon:
Zechariah 14:9 And the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one.
Jesus Christ will rule planet earth from His throne in Jerusalem with a âRod of Ironâ meaning evil acts will be dealt with swiftly and decisively.
The redeemed, those having walked with the Lord in their lives will rule the nations of the world, Rev 2:26-29 which have been populated by survivors of the 70th week of the Prophet Daniel, the final 7 years leading to Armageddon and the judgment by separation of the Sheep and Goats, Matthew 25: 31-32.
The âGeneral Populationâ will be safe and prosperous with longevity, length of days, probably hundreds of years being common life spans.
Zechariah 14:10 All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses.
Zechariah 14:11 People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security.
The 70th week of Daniel:
2Thessalonians 2:8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;
2Thessalonians 2:9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,
2Thessalonians 2:10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
Political and Religious leaders:
Jeremiah 25:34 “Wail, you shepherds, and cry; And wallow in ashes, you masters of the flock; For the days of your slaughter and your dispersions have come, And you will fall like a choice vessel.
Jeremiah 25:35 “Flight will perish from the shepherds, And escape from the masters of the flock.
Jeremiah 25:36 “Hear the sound of the cry of the shepherds, And the wailing of the masters of the flock! For the LORD is destroying their pasture,
Jeremiah 25:37 “And the peaceful folds are made silent Because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
Because in this context tells us this destruction was done by gentile powers of the world who were not stopped by God but used by God as a discipline.
Folds here are most probably Judah and Benjamin the two tribes of the province of Judah where Jerusalem is located and having to do with the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple and the dispersion, being removed from the land of their fathers to many countries of the world in 70a.d.
Prior to that destruction was the destruction and dispersion by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon in about 600b.c but many returned to Jerusalem after 70 years of captivity.
But, currently in our time, since 1947 they, those of the world wide dispersion under Roman rulers, are being returned to Israel as it exists today.
After Armageddon the current Israel will be expanded to many times it’s current size, the size that was promised to Abraham and his descendants through Isaac as most of the opposition will be dead at Armageddon and murdered by the Beast of âThe revived Roman empireâ by the direct supervision of Satan working through the âSons of Disobedienceâ.
Jeremiah 25:38 “He has left His hiding place like the lion; For their land has become a horror Because of the fierceness of the oppressing sword, the Roman sword And because of His, God’s fierce anger.”
Jeremiah 26:8 When Jeremiah finished speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests and the Prophets and all the people seized him, saying, “You must die!
False teachers and Prophets:
Jeremiah 26:11 Then the priests and the Prophets spoke to the officials and to all the people, saying, “A death sentence for this man! For he has Prophesied against this city as you have heard in your hearing.”
Jeremiah Speaks:
Jeremiah 26:12 Then Jeremiah spoke to all the officials and to all the people, saying, “The LORD sent me to Prophecy against this house, Judah and against this city, Jerusalem all the words that you have heard.
Jeremiah 26:13 “Now therefore amend your ways and your deeds and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will change His mind about the misfortune which He has Pronounced against you.
Jeremiah 26:14 “But as for me, behold, I am in your hands; do with me as is good and right in your sight.
Jeremiah 26:15 “Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood on yourselves, and on this city and on its inhabitants; for truly the LORD has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.”
Jeremiah 26:24 But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, so that he was not given into the hands of the people to put him to death.
The Creator:
Jeremiah 27:5 “I, Jehovah of Host have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight, ultimately Jesus Christ and His faithful.
The Creator became flesh, incarnate:
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:15 John *bore witness of Him, and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.'”
John the Baptist was born 6 months before Jesus meaning He who preexisted John the Baptist is God, the Diety of Jesus Christ. The mother of John the Baptist was Elizabeth .
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God.
Luke 1:36 “And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.
A Gentile Ruler:
Jeremiah 27:6 “Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I have given him also the wild animals of the field to serve him.
Jeremiah 27:7 “All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson, 3 generations until the time of his own land comes, Jeremiah 27:11; then many nations and great kings will make him, king of Babylon their servant.
Jeremiah 27:8 “It will be, that the nation or the kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and which will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with the sword, with famine and with pestilence,” declares the LORD, “until I have destroyed it by his hand, the hand of the king of Babylon.
Those nations who will not serve God will serve a tyrant and Israel who had freedom to live under the âLaw of Mosesâ, a righteous government but, they chose evil and subsequently lost their sovereignty and were made to live under the Dictator of Babylon.
Satan’s servants, false Prophets and false teachers:
Jeremiah 27:9 “But as for you, do not listen to your Prophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your soothsayers or your sorcerers who speak to you, saying, ‘You will not serve the king of Babylon.’
The consequence of false Prophecy, false teaching:
Jeremiah 27:10 “For they Prophecy a lie to you in order to remove you far from your land; and I will drive you out and you will perish.
Jeremiah 27:11 “But the nation which will bring its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let remain on its land,” declares the LORD, “and they will till it and dwell in it.”‘”
Judah, the southern kingdom of Israel, also called the Jews listened to their false prophets and false teachers and they subsequently were removed from their land when many were taken captive and many died by the sword.
King Nebuchadnezzar became a believer in the God of Daniel âJehovah of Hostâ during the time of Daniel the Prophet who was a young exile from Judah.
âJehovah of Hostâ is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Ishmael but they knew Him only as âGod Almightyâ.
Ishmael the father of the Arabic people who became Idol worshipers were conquered by Mohamad a dictator and source of Islam are still to this day a conquered people who seek world dominion for Allah their God.
The different names of God in the Bible identify the different ministries and aspects of God and are actually titles much like a man who is a Father, Husband, and an Engineer meaning one man is all of those things, and He, God was called Jesus Christ in the New Testament when He became flesh in the virgin born son of Mary who is also called the âSon of Manâ and the âSeed of the Womanâ who is Messiah, Shiloh as He is all of those things and more.
See the Bible book of Daniel which was written about 600 B.C. Daniel referred to the Bible book of Jeremiah, Daniel 9:2 for a Prophecy concerning Jerusalem.
Directions from God through Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 29:1 And these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the Prophet sent from Jerusalem to the rest of the elders of the exile, and to the priests, and to the Prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had exiled from Jerusalem to Babylon
Jeremiah 29:2 after Jeconiah the king, and the queen mother, and the eunuchs, the rulers of Judah and Jerusalem, and the craftsmen, and the smiths, had gone out from Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 29:3 He sent by the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah, king of Judah, sent to Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, saying,
Jeremiah 29:4 So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have caused to be exiled from Jerusalem to Babylon:
The Message:
Jeremiah 29:5 Build houses and live, and plant gardens, and eat their fruit.
Jeremiah 29:6 Take wives, and father sons and daughters. And take wives for your sons; and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters, and multiply there, and do not become few.
Jeremiah 29:7 And seek the peace of the city, there where I have caused you to be exiled. And pray to Jehovah for it; for in its peace you shall have peace.
Jeremiah 29:8 For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your Prophets and your divining ones in your midst deceive you. And do not listen to your dreams which you dream.
Jeremiah 29:9 For they Prophesy falsely to you in My name. I have not sent them, says Jehovah.
Jeremiah 29:10 For so says Jehovah, When according to My mouth seventy years have been fulfilled for Babylon, I will visit you and confirm My good Word to you, to bring you back to this place.
