Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: KJV
Matthew 7:8 For everyone who keeps asking will receive, and the person who keeps searching will find, and the person who keeps knocking will have the door opened. ISV
Romans 5:19 For as through the one man’s disobedience (Adam) the

“The Elect Gentiles of God!”

Ephesians 2:1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins

Ephesians 2:2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience–

Ephesians 2:3 among whom we all (Jew and Gentile) once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,

Ephesians 2:5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ–by grace you have been saved–

Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up with him (Christ) and seated us with him (Christ) in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Heavenly places here in verses three and six can be translated simply Heavens meaning separate spaces. There are currently at least four heavens mentioned in the Bible but scholars say there may be as many as eleven heavens. There are two heavens in the creation that we occupy in our time, space domain. One is above the earth and is called the stratosphere and the other heaven is called outer space which contains planet earth and its solar system and Billions of Galaxies with planetary systems composed of stars and planets. The distance across outer space is calculated to be billions of light years, Jeremiah 33:22.

Seated in the heavenly places here is probably not sitting down but indicates positional authority that God has already placed us in. While we don’t enjoy this currently on planet earth this is part of our inheritance as we are joint heirs with Christ and it already exists and will be waiting for us after our death or the Rapture of the Church. Christ is currently in the third heaven and has authority over planet earth and our space, time domain creation and will soon take control of planet earth according to a prearranged schedule that existed before the foundation of planet earth. The space time domain creation including planet earth was created for the resolution of the Angelic and Human sin problem and will eventually be destroyed becoming the “Lake of fire”. It may be destroyed by implosion meaning that it will simply be compressed or collapse in on itself. God the Word, John 1:1,10, spoke it into existent and it will be permanent but the form will change being on fire and greatly reduced in size, 2Peter 3:12.

Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 1:4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love

Ephesians 1:5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,

Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

The “adoption as sons” verse 5 will occur at the redemption of our bodies, the Rapture of the Church, Romans 8:23, Rev 4:1, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

Ephesians 1:8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight

Ephesians 1:9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ

Ephesians 1:10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

Ephesians 1:11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

Ephesians 1:12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ (Jews) might be to the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1:13 In him you also (Gentiles), when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him (Christ), were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

You in red verse 13 above is in the plural and would be ye in the KJV meaning that Paul is addressing the group and not an individual.

These Gentiles at Ephesus are not nondescript Gentiles but they are predestined Gentiles, see verse 11 above.

These Ephesians were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, see verse 4 above meaning they were foreknown by God, Romans 8:29 as was the birth, life, and death of Christ Jesus.  See also John 10:16.

Ephesians 1:14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it (the inheritance), to the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1:15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, compare 1John 5:1.

Ephesians 1:16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,

Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

Ephesians 1:18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 1:19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might

Ephesians 1:20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 1:21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come, Revelation 19:6.

Ephesians 1:22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,

Ephesians 1:23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
