EXPLICIT BIBLE TRUTH
Jesus
Who is he
What is he
Why is he
Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: KJV
Matthew 7:8 For everyone who keeps asking will receive, and the person who keeps searching will find, and the person who keeps knocking will have the door opened. ISV
Romans 5:19 For as through the one man’s disobedience (Adam) the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One (man Christ Jesus) the many will be made righteous (righteousness is the gift of God, Rom. 3:21-24, Eph. 2:8-10, ISV, KJV).
TODAY’S Comments
“The Future”
Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
A paraphrase translation for Rev. 1:10 above would read; âI was out of the Body and in the spirit and in the âday of the Lordâ. Compare 2nd Corinthians 12:2-4.
The Apostle John was transported forward in time at least 2000 years and is being shown the future which is the âDay of the Lordâ.
The âday of the Lordâ could begins at the âRapture of the Church, Rev 4:1â but will probably begin at Rev.12:10 after Satan and his angles are cast out of the 3rd Heaven, Rev. 12:7-9, and will last for 1000 years.
Revelation 1:19 “Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall take place after these things.
The Apostle John was told to write, about the things that he sees, Rev. chapter 1; and the things that are, Rev. chapter 2 and 3 which are the Churches; and the things that will be after these things which is after the Church, the âBody of Christâ departs from Planet Earth and settles temporarily in the 3rd Heaven with a final destination being in the âNew Heaven and New Earthâ.
In Rev. 4:1 the Apostle John is commanded to enter Heaven through an open door. I believe this is a type of the Church Rapture. John is only one person but the âBody of Christâ, the Church is one person also even though the Local Churches are many. The phrase âafter these thingsâ is repeated to John meaning this is post rapture and we will watch the âgreat tribulationâ from the mezzanine floor which is the 3rd Heaven.
Rev. chapter 4 through chapter 22 show the process leading to the âKingdom of Heavenâ and to the final eternal “kingdom of God” in which only those made righteous, Ephesians 2:10, will abide. All that is Evil will be in the “Lake of fire”.
This period of time for most of the Book of Revelation, Rev. 4:1 through Rev. 19:11 concerns the last 7 years of the reign of Satan on planet Earth and the restoration of Israel as God’s ambassadors on planet Earth for 1000 years.
This period of time is also called the 70th week in the book of Daniel beginning at Daniel 9:24. Seventy weeks apparently is a short hand method of writing which actually is equal to 490 years of 360 days per year in the Jewish calendar. Sixty nine of the 70 weeks were completed by the first palm Sunday, Daniel 9:25-26, Matt. 21:5-9, Luke 19:29-44. The 70 weeks are divided into 3 segments of 7 weeks, 62 weeks and finally 1 week. The final week which is 7 years is also divided into 2 segments of 3.5 years each, Daniel 9:27.
If Israel had repented of it’s Evil ways after Pentecost then probably we would have moved right to the 70th week but as it is the Gentiles were substituted for unbelieving Israelis as we are said to be grafted into the root of Israel after some of the natural branches were broken off due to unrepentance, Romans chapter 11.
Although thousands of Israelis did receive Jesus as the Christ, millions did not.
Only the 70th week which is 7 years which is seven 360 day Jewish years remains to be completed.
The Rapture could happen at any time which will end the âChristian Church ageâ and Israel will complete the 70th week of Daniel 9:24. The 70th week will not be happy times.
In Rev. chapter 12 the Devil, Satan is cast out of Heaven and confined to planet Earth by Michael the Arcangel. Things do change, see: Jude 1:9.
