Matthew chapter 17:
1–And after six days, Jesus took Peter and James, and his brother John, and brought them up into a high mountain privately.
2–And He Jesus was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light.
This is probably the UNIFORM OF GLORY that will be worn by the Church post Rapture and was previously worn by Adam and Eve. When the uniform disappeared, post transgression their nakedness was exposed. Had Jesus not been wearing street clothes his nakedness would have been exposed after this incident as it was at Calvary where He died a human death for the sins of the World. He became alive in His SPIRIT FORM but returned to His body 3 days later. For 3 days and nights He visited the Lower parts of the Earth to complete Messianic Prophesies and release some people from bondage, Ephesians 4:8-10, Revelation 3:3-5, 18. He has the Keys of Death and Hades and the Keys of King David meaning He has the authority of God, 1Peter 3:18-22, 1Peter 4:6.
Jesus demonstrated the uniform as none of us are able to do so at this time.
The Invincible, Invisible, tangible Hope:
INVINCIBLE here means WHEN ATTACKED it cannot be altered, reduced, deleted and has not been ignored.
INVISIBLE here means we have not seen the Kingdom of Heaven yet but we wait by faith for its coming by worshiping the invisible God, John 4:21-24.
TANGIBLE here means our faith is based on marvels of the creation that we see and the Bible that we read, Romans chapter 1.
Romans 8:1
A–THERE IS THEREFORE NOW NO CONDEMNATION TO THOSE IN CHRIST JESUS,
B–WHO DO NOT WALK ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, BUT ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT OF GOD.
Romans 8:1–B is in the KJV & LITV but not in the oldest manuscripts, however; it is supported by Romans 8:4 and 1John 3:7-10, See below.
Romans 8:1–B is found in other portions of Bible scripture and contributes to this subject, 2Timothy 2:15 therefore we will leave it here.
What we are looking for here is comprehension, understanding of what has been taught.
The Nature of God
THE OLD TESTAMENT teaches us much about the character of the immutable, unchangeable god and righteousness as expressed in the ten commandments, Exodus chapter 20.
THE NEW TESTAMENT teaches us about messiah who was prophesied in the Old Testament and is the basis, means for all salvation as the righteous law of god could not save us, Hebrews 10:1-10.
REPENTANCE MEANS that we change our mind to an attitude of righteous living with 1John 1:9, a provision of the Melchisedec Priesthood covering our sins, transgressions in our walk with the lord by the onetime Offering and Resurrection of Jesus.
DISCIPLINE is a course correction for those who follow the ILLICIT lusting of the flesh and can be quite severe for those ignoring warning discipline, Hebrews 12:11. Having a spouse of the opposite gender is lawful and productive and pleasant but can also have sorrow by improper conduct and wayward children.
SUFFERING comes to ALL Christians in many forms such as the loss of loved ones and sickness but we have a blessed hope. The world at large suffers the same way but with no hope. I have witnessed both groups many times with severe losses for my family as well. While we miss loved ones, informed Christians do not grieve as the World grieves.
My Mother grieved deeply when my Father passed away. My Wife gave her a book entitled “Dying Grace”. The book greatly changed my Mothers outlook for the better. Her ignorance of Bible Doctrine caused the problem even though she had been a Christian since childhood. Many Christians have an outline of the Bible and are saved but not stable in times of stress. Stability comes from knowing the Bible as we were meant to know it, Ephesians 4:11-15, 1Corinthians 2:9-10.
Life is a blessing but we are all terminal and we will also pass away, leaving the World scene if the Lord Jesus tarries but some will still be in their mortal bodies at the Church Rapture, never having died, Hebrews 11:5, 1Corinthians 15:51.
Our Mortal Body is a cocoon. At death the butterfly, our regenerated spirit and soul leave the body and move to Paradise in the 3rd Heaven. Evil people are more like a moth when they emerge from their Body and they move to Hades, a prison below the surface of planet Earth and not a pleasant place.
There probably is a place of LIMBO where saved but unfaithful people who have lost their rewards, 1Corinthians 5:1-5 will reside and it is probably patterned after the BOSOM OF ABRAHAM and it is not a place of torment as is HADES. They will remain in LIMBO until their resurrection which is probably the 1st Major Resurrection also called the 1st resurrection which is actually the 4th resurrection, Revelation 20:6. There are 5 resurrections and 5 Raptures.
The residents of HADES will remain in Hades until their resurrection for judgment and damnation.
2Peter 2:9–The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, Revelation 3:10 below and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment. 2Peter Chapter 2 is the complete context.
Revelation chapter 3:
10–Because you have kept the word of my patient endurance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole inhabited world, to PUT TO THE TEST those who live on the earth.
The object here is to wake up people who are subjects of Evil by choice or circumstance.
11–I am coming quickly! Hold fast to what you have, so that no one may take away your crown.
Crown here represents authority, dominion and rewards for the faithful of redemption.
Act chapter 13:
19–And after destroying seven nations in the land of Canaan, GOD gave THEIR LAND to HIS PEOPLE, the SONS OF JACOB as an inheritance.
20—This took about four hundred and fifty years. And after these things HE, God gave them judges until SAMUEL THE PROPHET.
21–And then they asked for a king, and God gave them SAUL, son of Kish, a man from the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.
22–And after removing SAUL he raised up DAVID for their king, about whom he also said, testifying, ‘I have found David the SON OF JESSE to be a man in accordance with MY HEART, WHO WILL CARRY OUT ALL MY WILL.’
1Kings 15:5—For David did that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah, and did not turn aside from all that He commanded him all the days of his life, EXCEPT in the matter of URIAH the Hittite.
URIAH was the husband of Bathsheba who became pregnant by King David. To cover up the affair David had Uriah brought back from the War to spend the night with Bathsheba but the ethics of Uriah stopped him from going to Bathsheba. So; David had Uriah compromised, leading to his death by design in a military action and then married Bathsheba.
A Baby son was born to Bathsheba and lived for a short time and died even though King David prayed continually for God to Spare the child. The Baby was innocent and had done nothing wrong. The message here is the INNOCENT BABY died for the SIN OF DAVID AND BATHSHEBA, 2Samual 12:1-25.
About 1000 years later, in the future, another INNOCENT SON OF DAVID would die on a cross at mount Calvary for the SINS OF THE WORLD.
God also saved the thief at Calvary who was guilty of a Capitol Crime and Saul of Tarsus who MURDERED CHRISTIANS but became the Apostle Paul, 1Peter 4:15-19, 1John 3:15.
Through, by REMISSION OF SINS they were forgiven for their iniquities, 1Corinthians 6:9-11. At least two of these aforementioned men had integrity but their actions caused them difficulties in life, 2Samual 12:10-13.
It is NOT the person that IS but the person that WILL Be after REPENTANCE THAT WILL RULE IN THE ETERNAL KINGDOM OF GOD.
Mortal life produces it’s own consequences, Galatians 6:7-9.
23–From the descendants of this man, DAVID according to HIS promise, GOD brought to Israel the SAVIOR, JESUS but not through Solomon.
Election and Freewill:
Act chapter 13:
47–For that is what the Lord ORDERED us to do: ‘I have made you, the Apostle Paul to be a light to the gentiles to be the MESSENGER of salvation to the very ends of the earth.'”
48–When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been APPOINTED to eternal life believed.
2Peter chapter 3:
Those appointed
9–The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, NOT HAVING PURPOSED any to perish, but ALL to come to God through REPENTANCE.
THE ELECT OF GOD ARE APPOINTED TO SALVATION ON THE BASIS OF the FOREKNOWLEDGE of God AND NOT ON THE BASIS OF ANY OTHER PREJUDICE. THE ELECT OF GOD ARE BOTH JEW AND GENTILE, BOTH MALE AND FEMALE, BOTH RICH AND POOR. Many want salvation but they are NOT willing to REPENT but have their own plan of Salvation which is supported by False Teachers and misunderstood Bible Scripture.
The Road to Salvation:
Luke chapter 24:
46—He, Jesus told them, “This is how it is written: the Messiah was to suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47–and then REPENTANCE for forgiveness of sins is to be PROCLAIMED in HIS NAME to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
The PROCLAMATION of repentance began post, after the resurrection but existed before Adam and Eve, 1Peter 1:20.
THE NAME OF JESUS IS WHO HE IS AND WAS AND WHAT HE DID AND WHAT HE SAID. I have friends named Jesus and I do not bow at their feet, Philippians 2:9-11 because it is the substantive Jesus Christ that we regard who is also the I AM incarnate, in the flesh.
Acts chapter 3:
26–Having raised up His SERVENT JESUS CHRIST, God sent Him first to you, blessing you in TURNING AWAY (repentance) each one of you from your iniquities, (Sins).
INIQUITIES ARE MEASURED BY GOD’S COMMANDMENTS. EVIL COMES TO US THROUGH IDOLATRY AND SELF INDULGENCE REGARDLESS OF CONSEQUENCE TO OTHERS AND EVEN TO OURSELVES, Luke 10:27.
The father of JESUS is GOD who has no genealogy as HE is Eternally existent; So, the inheritance and line to King David is through His Mother Mary, Luke 3:23-38, Job 42:15 as the Father of Jesus and the source of our regeneration is God.
LUKE 3:23–WHEN JESUS BEGAN HIS MINISTRY HE WAS ABOUT THIRTY YEARS OF AGE, BEING THE SON OF GOD, JOHN 1:14-15 AND THE GRANDSON OF HELI THE FATHER OF MARY AND NOT THE SON OF JOSEPH.
Matthew 1:16–JACOB (Not Heli) fathered JOSEPH, the husband of Mary, who was the mother of Jesus, who is called the messiah.
Only fathers are mentioned in the genealogy including Heli, the father of Mary, and concludes, ends at the 1st Adam who was a SON OF GOD but lost that title when he transgressed becoming something other than what he was created to be.
Only fathers are mentioned here as they bare the seed of the human race that passed through their wives to their offspring. The seed of the human race was damaged by the sin of Adam. The seeds passed through the genealogy of Luke 3:23-38 along with the untarnished seed of the woman, Genesis 3:15, Galatians 3:18-19 that became Jesus.
God compensated for the sin of Adam and Eve through the offering of Jesus and they and their offspring became part of an outcome, a plan to replace the fallen HOST OF HEAVEN, 1Peter 1:17-21, Luke 20:34-36. You are correct; these are obscure passages but are part of the HIDDEN MANNA, Revelation 2:17, 1Corinthians 2:9-16.
The 1st man who we call Adam from the Hebrew AADAAM meaning man or mankind was probably created as originally planned by, through the foreknowledge of God to replace the FALLEN HOST OF HEAVEN and to be the SUPERIOR creation, Genesis 1:26, 1John 3:1-3, Hebrews 1:1-4 not necessarily meaning superior in strength, 2Peter 2:11-12 in the short term but the Elect will eventually be capable of understanding and carrying out the more complex instructions of God which may have been a bone of contention for some. Even humans do not like being passed over and many have hurt feelings or worse, becoming vindictive.
The Elect Angels of God have very important functions and assignments in the creation as assigned by God and are very capable of completing their instructions, missions from their abilities and volition.
The Elect Angels have been instructed by God to NOT destroy Satan until the right time Revelation 12:7-9, Jude 1:9, Zechariah 3:1-2, Revelation 20:1-2 and 20:10 as Satan is currently useful to God, Ephesians 2:1-7. The process is like a centrifuge and is useful for separation and identification and has a great deal to do with integrity and those who will gain integrity.
LUCIFER meaning the LIGHT BEARER also lost his title becoming SATAN meaning the ENEMY OF GOD AND MANKIND.
The Covenant, the Promise
“ALL THE EARTH IS MINE”
Exodus chapter 19:
5–And now if you will CAREFULLY listen to my voice and keep my covenant, you will be a treasured possession for Me out of all the peoples, for ALL THE EARTH IS MINE, Psalm 24:1, Psalm 89:11.
Of the 7, seven churches of Revelation Chapter 2 and 3 only one received an accolade, a well done and NO rebuke, Revelation 3:7-13 and one a passing grade with encouragement as it was the Church under persecution, Revelation 2:8-11.
King Saul Disobeys God
1 Samuel chapter 15:
10–Then the word of Yahweh came to Samuel, saying, 11–“I REGRET THAT I MADE SAUL KING, FOR HE HAS TURNED BACK FROM FOLLOWING ME AND HAS NOT KEPT MY WORD.” Samuel the prophet became angry, and he cried out to Yahweh all night. 12–Then Samuel got up early in the morning to meet Saul. Samuel was told, “Saul has gone to Carmel, and look, he is setting up a monument for himself.” Then he turned around and crossed over and went down to Gilgal. 13–When Samuel came to Saul, Saul said to him, “May you be blessed by Yahweh! I have kept the word of Yahweh.” 14–But Samuel said, “Then what is this bleating of the sheep that I hear in my ears and the lowing of the cattle that I am hearing?” 15–Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; the troops spared the best of the sheep and the cattle in order to sacrifice them to Yahweh your God. But the rest we have utterly destroyed.” 16–Then Samuel said to Saul, “Stop and let me tell you what Yahweh said to me last night.” So he said to him, “Speak.” 17–Samuel said, “Even though you are small in your own eyes, are you not the head of the tribes of Israel? Yahweh has anointed you as king over Israel. 18–When Yahweh sent you on your way, he said to you: ‘Go! You must utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and you must fight against them until you have destroyed them.’ 19–Why did you not listen to the voice of Yahweh and fall with shouting on the plunder (they greedily took the spoil which they were told to destroy)? YOU HAVE DONE EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF YAHWEH!”
Anyone having gone to military boot camp knows about foolish orders that they are expected to carry out. Many fail boot camp as they refuse to follow orders. Military people are trained to follow orders without hesitation but many will not comply and are of no use to the military.
God’s purpose here is not disclosed but what’s obvious is they did not follow instruction, Luke 16:10-12.
King Saul modified the instruction given to him through the Prophet Samuel as many people do today including Christians who substitute HUMAN VIEWPOINT for GOD’s WORD the Bible where instruction is comprehensible such as repentance.
Luke chapter 24:
45–Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures, 46–and said to them, “Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and would rise from the dead on the third day, 47–and REPENTANCE AND THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS would be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Act chapter 3:
26–God, after he had raised up his servant, JESUS sent him to you first, to bless you by turning each of you back from your wickedness!”
Wickedness and righteousness are measured by the commandments of God, Luke 10:27-37, 1John 5:1-5.
The Great commission:
Luke chapter 24:
44–And He, Jesus said to them, These are the Words which I spoke to you yet being with you, that all the things must be fulfilled having been written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, CONCERNING ME. 45–Then He opened their mind to understand the Scriptures, Acts 16:14. (46)and said to them, So it is written, and so the Christ must suffer, Psalm 22:12-18, Daniel 9:26 and to rise from the dead the third day.
The third day:
Psalm 16:10–For you God will not abandon my soul (King David) to Sheol, Hades, or let your Holy One see CORRUPTION.
Acts 2:27–Because thou God will not leave my soul, in Hades, (King David) neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see CORRUPTION.
See: John 11:39 for the number of days from death to body CORRUPTION also called body decay which is 4 days.
Salvation:
Luke 24:47 And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name (His reputation, what is written in the scriptures concerning His person) to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem, Acts 20:20-21, Acts 3:25-26.
Children of God
1John chapter 3:
7–Little children let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as He, God is righteous. 8–Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
God created Lucifer whose name means the Light Bearer. Lucifer was created with intellect and volition. He decided to do it his way and moved against God doing Evil becoming Satan meaning the Enemy of God.
All human beings have intellect and volition, self will and many have moved against God and have sided with Satan, the enemy of God as expressed in the sins of the flesh, Galatians, 5:16-26.
Repentance is offered to all human beings by the successful ministry of the God -Man, Jesus Christ Acts 17:30-34.
1John chapter 3:
9–No one born of God makes a practice of sinning for God’s seed abides in him and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God.
10–By this the children of God are evident and those who are the children of the Devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.
Love his brother here is AGAPE and is not affectionate love but in some context is translated charity meaning we love others based on their need and not on their worthiness or merit regardless of who they are, Luke 10:29-37.
The person receiving your love may not even know who you are and even if they do know they may never respond, not even with gratitude.
Not knowing the source of love can save embarrassment for all concerned.
Many times it can be just a smile or a friendly hello and welcome, Matthew 6:1-15.
We need to be cautious with some people as they misconstrue our purpose and see it as a weakness to exploit so, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
Fellowship with God:
1John chapter 1:
5–This is the message we have heard FROM JESUS and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in God is no darkness at all.
6–If we say we have fellowship with God while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7–But if we walk in the light, as God is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, God Son cleanses us from all sin.
Blood here is a metaphor representing the life and successful ministry of the God -Man who is Jesus Christ who as the LAMB OF GOD gave his life as ransom for the human race.
8–If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth, GOD WORD THE BIBLE is not in us.
9–If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10–If we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word, the Bible is not in us.
The two Laws:
Romans chapter 8:
2–For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and of death.
Death, Thanatos in this context means to be separated from God by our sin as were Adam and Eve but were subsequently redeemed as were many others because God who is never wrong looked forward to Calvary.
When we walk as the world walks in sin we break fellowship with God but the Spirit of God stays with us.
Restoration to fellowship is stated in 1John 1:9 by means of prayer in which we confess, acknowledge our sins to God with an attitude of repentance.
Others can pray for us but be careful who you confess your sins to as there are busy bodies in every Church.
3–For the Law of sin and death being powerless, in that it was weak, could not save us through the flesh, God sending HIS OWN SON IN THE LIKENESS OF SINFUL FLESH, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh, and made us ALIVE IN THE SPIRIT.
SIMPLY STATED; GOD HAS REGENERATED OUR SPIRIT TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH HIS SPIRIT GIVING US THE ABILITY TO GROW BY GRACE IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM AND JESUS CHRIST THE SAVIOR. BY HIS ETERNALLY INDWELLING SPIRIT WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO INJEST THE BIBLE, GOD’S TEXT BOOK LEARNING TO BE WHAT WE ALREDY ARE, SON’S OF GOD BY HIS FOREKNOWLEDGE, Romans 8:9-14. THIS IS A PROCESS AND BY FAITHFUL SERVICE WILL COME TO PASS, Colossians 2:6-8.
WE WILL HAVE NEW BODY’S WITH THE “UNIFORM OF GLORY” AT THE CHURCH RAPTURE AND OUR TRANSFORMATION WILL BE COMPLETE.
God quickened our DEAD SPIRIT bringing it into conformity with HIS SPIRIT. For computer people; He changed our operating system into a heavenly operating system so that He, God the Holy Spirit could install useful and necessary programs. The hard copy is the Bible and is processed, input through the eye and ear becoming software in our Spirit and part of us.
4–So that the righteous demand of the Law might be fulfilled in us, those not walking according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit, Romans 7:14-25.
The Believers Life:
1Corinthians chapter 6:
THIS IS ABOUT INHERITANCE AND NOT REDEMPTION AS THESE PEOPLE ARE SAVED and receiving doctrines of the faith. The unfaithful will not inherit but they will not go to the LAKE OF FIRE, 1Corinthians chapter3.
8–On the contrary, you yourselves wrong and de fraud. You do this even to your brethren.
These are IMMATURE CHILDREN OF GOD, 1Corinthians chapter 3 having been born of the Spirit of God who squabble, fight and have not yet reached the objective which is SPIRITUAL ADULTHOOD as expressed by loving the brethren but they are still walking by the flesh, Hebrews 6:10-12 .
9–Or do you not know that the unrighteous will NOT INHERIT the ETERNAL kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10–nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
The Redeemed:
11–SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU; but you were washed, Ephesians 5:26 but you were sanctified, 1Corinthians 1:2 but you were justified, Luke 18:9-14 by the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
The Walk:
12–All things are lawful for me, but NOT ALL THINGS ARE PROFITABLE. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.
