I do not pretend to have special knowledge here or for that matter anywhere else. We have the information that God has given us in the Bible and illumination that the Holy Spirit gives us concerning things that we cannot see and some speculation and proofs from legitimate Science. Our exposure and knowledge come by learning from line upon line and precept upon precept, here a little and there a little in our quest to understand. The Bible is a WORD PICTURE. To see the overall picture the pieces like a jigsaw puzzle must be correctly assembles, 2Timothy 2:15.

19–For as through the one man’s disobedience (Adam) the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One (man, Christ Jesus) the many will be made righteous (righteousness is the gift and work of God, Romans 3:21-24, Ephesians 2:8-10, ISV, KJV).
THE LAKE OF FIRE
2Peter chapter 3:
1–This is now, beloved, the second epistle that I write unto you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by putting you in remembrance;
2–that ye should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets (Old Testament), and the commandments of the Lord and Saviour (Jesus Christ) through your apostles (the twelve Apostles of the Lamb of God, Revelation 21:14):
3–knowing this first, that in the last days mockers shall come with mockery, walking after their own lusts (not walking with God),
4–and saying, where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers (Old Testament) fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Of course; Christ has come but they ignore that as well even though the evidence overwhelmingly supports Jesus as being the Christ of God.
Those that ascribe to Darwinism also ignore the evidence which is heavily weighted on the side of Creation.
Charles Darwin authored ORIGIN OF THE SPECIES which was published in 1859. Darwin warned like minded people to follow the fossil record which would prove or disprove his theory within the next 100 years. One hundred years have come and gone with no proof in the fossil record so they use conjecture and circular reasoning meaning that they lie or talk around the issues rather than address specific issues. They fear to debate Creationist as they always lose.
The SCOPES MONKEY TRIAL:
The Scopes monkey trial as it was dubbed by the press at that time in 1925 was a court trial concerning DARWINISM being taught in a Tennessee High School. The ACLU defended John Thomas Scopes. William Jennings Bryan was a prosecution expert who apparently was inept, not being well versed in the Bible. Was that part of a plot, possibly? Scopes lost the trial and was fined $100.00 but he won in the court of public opinion. Bryan took a Sunday nap 5 days after the trial and never woke up. I am sorry for Scopes and those who agree with him but they have volition and intellect and they see the same evidence in Nature that we see but they prefer Evil that has no accountability. No matter how you embellish a lie it is still a lie.
They continually ignore Charles Darwin’s warning also and conspire to deceive with oral and written declarations and fabrications of transitional life forms, Romans 1:24-25, Ephesians 2:2.
2Peter chapter 3:
5–For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth (dry land) compacted out of water and amidst water, by the word of God (God the Word, John 1:1-15).
Genesis chapter 1:
6–And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.”
7–And God made the expanse (a Heaven or a space) and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so.
8–And GOD CALLED THE EXPANSE HEAVEN. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.
Heaven is translated expanse here and means space as in inner space, inner heaven and outer space, outer heaven. God’s heaven is the 3rd heaven, 2Corinthians 12:2-4 and probably means 3rd in order with our inner space being Number 1 and our outer space being number 2. This could be dimensional or perhaps heaven number 3 encircles our heavens as our outer space encircles our inner space as concentric circles do in a rifle or archery target. There are 4 heavens mentioned in the Bible. Scholars report there may be as many as 11 heavens and different dimensions. Jesus suddenly appeared to his Apostles. Does that mean that He was invisible or that He entered from another dimension? It is not important that we currently understand the dynamics but that we have faith based obedience as in Romans chapter 1 as observers of facts and phenomenon that surround us. We don’t have to be pilots to fly; however, we need pilots that understand the dynamics of flying even though their predecessors did not but studied flying creatures for knowledge. We have Jesus and the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit by which we learn.
9–And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.
What we learn from this is that God separated the waters that rested on the Earth with a force, (Isaiah 45:11-12) resulting in a dividing of the waters with an EXPANSE also called a HEAVEN or a space. The dividing between the waters below called the Oceans and the waters above made a water canopy above the Earth that encapsulated Planet Earth. The space between the waters is also called a heaven which He later made the domain of flying birds and Bats. Bats may be offspring of Pterosaurs and other flying reptiles even though Bats are classified as mammals. God may have programmed the extinction of certain species as He programmed different Races and different features of humans from a common source who was the first Adam and Eve his bride.
The waters above this new heaven completely encapsulated Planet Earth and the space between the upper and lower waters. The new space, heaven encircled Planet Earth and was inside the water capsule which is also called a water or vapor dome and weighed many-many tons.
The flood waters reached a height of 22 feet above the tallest mountains which were probably rolling shallow hills. Had Mount Everest existed at that time the water would have had a depth of over 5 miles from the earth, Genesis 7:18-20.
Later in history God divided the waters for Moses and other Prophets by heaping, piling the water resulting in dry passages for crossing.
God furbishes planet Earth:
God the Word, John 1:1-15 began work on the pre-existent earth about 6,000 years ago making it habitable for human, animal, Fish, Bird, and reptile life forms, completing the work in 6 Solar Days.
The ancient Earth was very likely a frozen ICED OVER BALL pre-existing for perhaps Eons floating, careening or most probably moving in a straight line from inertia and located in Outer Space with no external heat or light source, no Sun or Moon which pre-existed but were added, placed in position later, Genesis 1:16.
The word MADE means made from existing material and does NOT MEAN CREATE.
The luminaries of outer space including our Sun pre-existed but did not emit light until commanded to do so, Genesis 1:3-4. The light most probably was contained in the Orbs, Spheres of our universe that pre-existed in a QUIET STATE as planets still do and was released through NUCLEAR FUSION.
NUCLEAR FUSION is the combining of smaller atoms making larger atoms and releasing energy in the process such as light and heat from an IMPLOSION rather than an EXPLOSION and eventually producing the end product which is BLACK HOLES when depleted as does Uranium, a fissionable material that becomes lead when depleted by reduction measured in half-lives.
NUCLEAR FISSION is the opposite of Fusion being the separation of larger atoms into smaller atoms producing an EXPLOSION with harmful radiation like an Atomic Bomb.
Darkness was upon the face of the deep, Genesis 1:2 meaning OUTER SPACE.
Whenever God is present there is light as he is light, Revelation 21:23-24.
2Peter chapter 3:
6–by which means (God the Word, John 1:1-15) the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
The water canopy was designed and built to surround the earth, encapsulating the earth. The water canopy was dissolved by continual rain for 40 days and nights returning the water to planet earth producing the great flood.
Tall mountains like Everest which is 5.5 miles high and deep caverns like the Marinas Trench which is 6.6 miles below sea level were added at that time to counter the effects of the flood and causing the earth to divide into continents, Genesis 10:25, 1Chronicles 1:19 with some water captured at the poles as ice.
Without the Water Canopy and with the tipping of its axis the Earth no longer has a fairly uniform temperature contributing to tectonic plate shift producing earthquakes and tsunamis. The Earth was made to be a Cadillac but became a Model-T ford.
When the pre-existent Earth was furbished in 6 days for mankind and animal life it probably had a vertical axis with a circular orbit around the Sun. Changing the Earth orbit from circular to elliptical would cause an ambient or mean temperature variation with lower temperatures that cause rain as low temperatures do today. In tropical regions humidity in the air nears saturation which can be 100%. In arid or desert areas the air is much dryer but our body cooling, sweat works much better. Cloudy weather holds overnight temperatures much higher. Tipping of the Earth axis gives us different seasons of the year.
The annual temperature at the equator is fairly consistent as its exposure to the Sun is fairly consistent but remembering our elliptical orbit around the sun and with day and night variations the temperature does vary and they get a lot of rain from very humid air.
Humans and animals are not protected as we once were from Sun radiation and Sun Flares and meteors. The Water Canopy extended mortal life for human and animal life.
The Dinosaur of yesterday, Job chapters 39 to 41 may be the reptile of today as reptiles continue to grow thru ought their lives as we see in very large alligators and anaconda and boa constrictor snakes today some of which have migrated to America with the help of people and they live in our swamps and even street sewer drainage systems.
During the 7 year period of the great tribulation the mountains and deep caverns and crevasses will be brought back to near Sea Level, Isaiah 40:4-5, Revelation 16:18 giving us a very flat topography with small mountains and rolling hills and rejoining of the continents, Revelation 20:9.
Because mortal life will be extended I suspect the excess water will be restored to the Water Canopy. If not, we will all drown as in the flood of Noah.
Fresh artesian water will be stored in the earth below Sea Level where artesian water and Petroleum is stored today. Water and oil do not mix. Our water will come from underground springs called fountains of the deep with rain also occurring.
The Day of Judgment
2Peter chapter 3:
7–but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word has been stored up for fire, being reserved for the DAY OF JUDGMENT and destruction of ungodly mankind, Revelation 20:15, and 9-10.
The current heavens, after the flood of Noah’s time that we call the stratosphere or inner space, the abode of flying creatures and outer space, the abode of the stars and planets including Earth and our Sun are reserved, kept for the destruction of ungodly Mankind whose names are NOT written in the BOOK OF LIFE, Revelation 20:15.
8–But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. See: Psalm 90:4.
Verse 8 probably is a comparison of the patience of mankind who does not live long on the Earth to the patience of God, 2Peter 3:4 above and 3:9 below. Almighty God is eternal and TIME has no effect on Him. Time is used by God to schedule events that become history when completed and future event that will become history and will eventually become forgotten history in Eternity as they are the means for completion, solution of current problems.
Destruction of the Heavens!
2Peter chapter 3:
9–The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness; but is long suffering to you-ward (all people, not just Jews), NOT WISHING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, but that ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE.
Repentance in the Greek language and in this case means to change your mind toward the righteous God, Acts 20:20-21 obeying the rules of God, Acts 5:32. Changing your mind will lead to overt, real changes in your life, 1John chapter 3. The invitation is to CHANGE YOUR MIND and COME AS YOU ARE like the thief at Calvary, Revelation 22:17!
10–But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11–Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of Persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness,
12–looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the Day of God, BY REASON OF WHICH the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
The Day of the Lord, verse 10 will include the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN in which the wolf will lie down with the lamb not to consume the lamb but in peace. This kingdom will last 1000 years and will begin after the time of the Rapture of the Church, the Body of Christ and after Armageddon.
The Day of God verse 12 is the KINGDOM OF GOD which is the ETERNAL KINGDOM that will last forever, 1Corinthians 15:24-25.
All Evil will be in the Lake of Fire and those made righteous by the Blood of the Lamb of God will reign forever, Revelation 21:17.
The phrase BY REASON OF WHICH in verse 12 tells us the KINGDOM OF GOD will follow the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN and will occur at the end of the thousand year reign of the Kingdom of Heaven that includes the Great White Throne Judgment all of which will occur prior to the Kingdom of God, 1Corinthians 15:24-25.
The elements, verse 12 of the heavens will melt with fervent, intense heat meaning they will be liquefied, or disintegrate most probably becoming or adding to the Lake of Fire, Revelation 20:15.

13–But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Resuming 2Peter chapter 3:
14–Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in Peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.
Spots and blemishes are removed by 1John 1:9 and discipline leading to repentance.
15–And account that the long suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul (the Apostle Paul) also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you;
Salvation here is not initial salvation but final salvation which is the Rapture.
16–as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17–Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own steadfastness.
Falling away verse 17 will result in eternal loss of reward and possibly mortal life as well to the individual, 2Corinthians 12:21, but never loss of eternal life, the Gift of God, Acts 13:48, Romans 11:29, Romans 8:28-291 Corinthians 5:5. The redeemed of God were known by God before the foundation of the World, Romans 8:28-39, Ephesians 1:4 and 2:10.
2Peter chapter 3:
18–But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
