The One And Only Christ:

Repentance:

Daniel 9:13 “As it is written in the law of Moses, a Prophecy come to pass, all this calamity has come on us; yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD, Jehovah our God by turning from our iniquity and giving attention to Your truth, 2Chronicles 7:14.

The Gospel according to Jesus:

Luke 24:45 Then He opened up their mind, the 11 Apostles to understand the Scriptures concerning His ministry,

Luke 24:46 and said to them, So it is written, and so the Christ must suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day.

Luke 24:47 And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Church Discipline:

2Corinthians 12:20 For I, the Apostle Paul  fear lest somehow, coming, I not find you as I wish, and I be found by you such as you do not wish; lest somehow there be strifes, envyings, angers, rivalries, evil speakings, whisperings, puffings up, disturbances;

2Corinthians 12:21 hoping  that it not be, that in my having come again my God may humble me with you, and I shall mourn many who are dead of those having previously sinned and not having repented over the uncleanness and fornication and lustful acts which they have practiced.

Many who die simply have reached their appointed time. This is a warning to those not walking with the Lord Jesus Christ who have been given ample warning and time to repent and did not or have not.

Warnings, examples are too late to benefit the dead. Love, AGAPE, sometimes translated charity for our neighbor is not difficult to understand so, whats the problem.  Loving means not making grief for your neighbor but helping when possible including a spouse or fellow member in the “Body of Christ”.

AGAPE is given to others by us because they need it and not because they deserve it and it is the opposite of egocentricity, the love of self, Philippians 2:3-4.

In the movie “Ground Hog Day” the actor was focused on himself at first but after many failures he changed his focus to serving others and became well known.

While our serving others incognito, not advertising our good deeds will not make us popular with others the Lord Jesus Christ applauds it, Matthew 6:2

The One And Only:

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;

Jesus Christ will always be King with His complete reign happening at Armageddon where He takes possession of Planet Earth, Revelation 11:16-19, N.A.S.B. For the beginning of His reign.

The Agent of Creation:

John 1:10 He, God  was in the world, in the person of His Son Jesus Christ, the God-Man meaning God, whose self existing form is Spirit, John 1:14 and John 4:22-24, took the form of a  Man perhaps some what like a “hand in a Glove”, or “the Light source and the Lamp” Revelation 21:23 as Jesus is the humanity, the body of the eternal God  Jehovah, Hebrews 10:5, who is sometimes revealed in His humanity and sometimes in His Diety as Jesus Christ is both  Eternal Diety and man and He is the pattern for those born of God, Romans 8:29 meaning we have the Eternal indwelling Holy Spirit who is God and our other spiritual components, our soul and our mind are being conformed to righteousness as we are a new creation but we keep our individuality, our self will .

And the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Did God make marijuana, Pot ? Yes, he did ! Does that mean it’s OK to smoke pot for recreation, NO ! God made arsenic also and electricity so, should we smoke arsenic or stick our tongue in a light socket ?

Forms of arsenic are used in chemotherapy and it is useful there but has drastic side effects some times killing the patient.

Marijuana and other drugs are meant for sick people who derive benefit from their use but again they have drastic side effects with prolonged use and even short term use and can steal, rob your mind.

Surgery:

I watched a skilled surgeon as he removed cancer particles from my wifes face.

The surgeon wore sterilized gloves but it was the hand in the glove that did the work and the hand was controlled by the spirit, soul and mind of the surgeon which is how God, Jehovah made us with the body giving us the ability to operate in a physical world.

Because of what Adam did we, the prodigy, offspring of Adam are born spiritually dead meaning we have the breath of life, we are physically alive but separated from God who is Spirit.

Unregenerated people, referred to as a soulish person or a natural man meaning we must be born of God, we must have spiritual regeneration to make contact with God who is Spirit, 1Corinthians 2:11-16.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one, a person is born of water and the Spirit, he, they cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

To enter the Eternal Kingdom, “the Kingdom of God” we have to be children of God who are born of the “Spirit of God” meaning we have a regenerated functional or functioning Spirit.

All human beings are born of water which is a natural birth which brings us into this world through our Mother but does not qualify us for the Eternal Kingdom.

Because we are fore known by Jehovah God I suspect that even still born babies will be saved but in perfect, complete form, 1Peter 1:3.

John 3:6 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do we communicate with the dead who have left their body and are in the spirit? NO, 2Corinthians 5:6-8, James 2:26.

We are destined to leave our body of flesh which will become a Spiritual body at the redemption of our body’s, Romans 8:23, 1Corinthians 15:35-37, and 42-44.

Although the Diety of Jesus Christ is 100% God and comes from God, John 1:1, He is not the entirety of God. So, how can God do that ?, I don’t know nor do I know how He created everything from nothing.

The evidence that God exists is ; what exists, the created, the creation itself.

The evidence for faith in Jehovah and His Son Jesus Christ is in the Bible as taught by the Holy Spirit of God and taught through gifted teachers and believed by gifted believers who can discern truth, Acts 16:14.

Perverse mankind:

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, mankind who hold, suppress the truth in, by unrighteousness;

Is revealed here is V3SPPI in Greek grammar meaning it is a verb third person singular he or she, present tense now, passive voice in this contest means revealed by God, indicative mood the mood of reality meaning factual.

Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Idolatry:

Romans 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Not a Science but religious Idolatry:

Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more, rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

Because some or many practice sodomy, anal intercourse and fisting many or all of them need corrective surgeries for repair of torn and inflamed anal tissues.

Ruptured bleeding tissue expose the blood to infestation and facilitates the spread of the AIDS virus and other diseases.

On the rise since 1980 is throat cancer caused by “human papillomavirus family” (HPV) that can occurs in people who participate in oral sex and especially with multiple partners as they have more exposure with more partners.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient, not conventional meaning not normal sex ;

Can they they be saved through the Gospel of repentance, Yes, of coarse, certaintly. Repentance means to change your mind

We get confused in our understanding as God, Jehovah has provided salvation for all humans but in His omniscience, foreknowledge He knows who will and who will not turn to him by repentance which is changing their mind which eventually or immediately results in a change of life style, James 2:12-18.

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Romans 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenant, contract breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Hebrews continued:

Hebrews 1:3 Who, Jesus Christ being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, as He is the visible image of the invisible Jehovah God and upholding all things by the word of his power, Matthew 8:26 when he had by himself purged our sins, Daniel 9:26 KJV sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high, Daniel 7:13;

Hebrews 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance, as the “Son of God” obtained a more excellent name, reputation  than they.

We will receive the adoption as son’s at the resurrection of our new bodies and will be joint heirs with Christ meaning we will inherit the New Heaven and New Earth as joint heirs with Christ Jesus but He will sit on the thrones of the earthly and then the heavenly Jerusalem. Romans 8:16-23.

Hebrews 1:13 But to which of the angels said He, God the Father at any time, Sit at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool,Psalm 110:1:

Footstool here is not an ottoman but is a way of declaring victory over an enemy by placing your foot on his neck.

Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation, see; Daniel 9:21-22 below.

Instructions of God delivered to the Prophet Daniel by

a Chief Prince, the Angel Gabriel:

Daniel 9:20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain, Jerusalem Daniel 9:16, of my God;

Daniel 9:21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel apparently he has the outward form of a man, a human being as some Angels do, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, (being caused to fly swiftly, the emphasis here is on swiftness and “fly” could be understood to mean “weariness” and some have retranslated the phrase to “my extreme weariness” meaning Daniels weariness. This demonstrates the difficulty that translators face.

Different translations are useful as they are works of academia and are not inspired.

The original writings from God, Jehovah are inspired and are called the autographed version which come to us through “Ghost Writers, Prophets” meaning they are dictated by the Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit and recorded by men chosen of God, 2Peter 1:20-21, 2Timothy 3:15-17.

The newer translations seem to make more sense here as the focus is on Daniel but some times the older translations seem to make more sense in other context, Proverbs 8:12 N.A.S.B), touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

Daniel 9:22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.

Skill here means the Angel is going to give Daniel a more detailed understanding of Jehovah God’s plan through Armageddon and the first resurrection including the crucifixion of Messiah and including the time line as measured by specific events.

Beginning at Daniel 9:1 Daniel has learned that the time, 70 years of the captivity of Judah to Babylon is over by examining the prophecies of Jeremiah.

Daniel is probably in his eighties at this point in his life. He is a humble person meaning he knows who he is and who God is and has relied on God, Jehovah for his subsistence, his life and acknowledges his sin and the sin of his people Israel to God who has mercy and forgiveness. This is exactly what the ungodly will not do, see 1John 1:9.

Daniel 9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

New Testament prayer supplication is “thanksgiving”, Philippians 4:6.

The detailed breakdown of 490 years:

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks, could be translated seventy sevens, 70 times 7, or 490 years are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks, the 62 week segment shall Messiah be cut off, killed, crucified  but not for himself:

But not for Himself is translated “and have nothing” in some more modern translations. Because Daniel 7:13, Acts 1:9-11, Acts 2:22-24 and many new testament passages concerning the purpose of His death and resurrection I think the KJV is correct in this context.

and the people, Romans  of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; this occurred in 70a.d and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

End here is the end of war which will occur post Armageddon, the last war.

The 70th week, Post Rapture:

Daniel 9:27 And he, the Roman Prince  shall confirm the covenant with many for one week, 7 years : and in the midst of the week, 3.5 years he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation end , and that determined shall be poured upon the desolator.

Sealing of the Book:

Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half, 3.5 years prior to Armageddon ; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, Israel post Rapture  all these things shall be finished.

Daniel 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, OH my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the wordsare closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Time of the End:

1Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1Peter 1:10 As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful search and inquiry,

1Peter 1:11 seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow.

1Peter 1:12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven–things into which angels long to look, Revelation 14:6, post Rapture .

Daniel 9:26:

Luke 21:20 And when you see Jerusalem being encircled by armies, then recognize that its destruction has come near.

Luke 21:21 Then let those in Judea flee into the mountains; and those in its midst, let them go out. And those in the open spaces, let them not go into her.

Luke 21:22 For these are days of vengeance when all things that have been written are to be fulfilled, Matthew 23:27-37.

The Book of Daniel was available but was not widely understood until the Church age began.

This warning was heeded by Christians in 70 a.d, Revelation 12:6 when Rome sacked Jerusalem with survivors fleeing to Petra in Jordan and that will occur again, Matthew 24:14-15, Daniel 11:31 and 12:11, Revelation 12:13-17 in the last 3.5 years before Armageddon and post Rapture.
