THE PLAN:
God made two genders and each is unique and co-dependent meaning there is no gender equality but each was designed by God and has specific duties.
Neither gender is greater than the other but for those who choose to marry and raise a family they must do so in love and obedience or the family will be dis-functional.
As none of us are yet perfect, we struggle for compliance with more or less success.
But, we press on not looking back with our eyes on Jesus Christ, the God/man, the author and finisher, perfecter of our faith.
The Plan in Prophecy:
Daniel 9:25 Know, then, and understand that from the going out of a word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem, Nehemiah 2:25-29, to Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks, 49 years and sixty two weeks, 434 years. The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in times of affliction.
Weeks here are “weeks of years” meaning 7 weeks equals 7 times 7 or 49 years and 70 weeks equals 490 years and is a method used by the ancients possibly for clarification as they used letters to represent numbers.
434 years plus 49 years equals 483 years until Messiah and the clock started ticking at Nehemiah 2:25-29.
The years were not all continuous but were divided into 5 segments.
The total time allocated here is 490 years with the clock only ticking for Israel and it stopped ticking after Messiah was crucified, after the 434 year segment and then the age, times of the Gentiles began also called the Church age and has lasted for about 2000 years.
After the Church rapture the clock will begin ticking again and will tick for 7 more years concluding the 490 years, ending at the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ at Armageddon.
Daniel 9:26 And after sixty two weeks, after the 62 week segment, 434 years Messiah shall be cut off, Killed but not for Himself. And the people of a coming ruler, the beast of the revived Roman Empire, shall destroy the city, Jerusalem and the sanctuary, the Temple. And its end shall be with the flood, Revelation 12:15 and ruins are determined, and war shall be until the end.
The end here is the end of war with the last battle being Armageddon, Matthew 24:6.
God will also destroy the rebels of planet earth 1000 years later by bombardment of planet earth with missiles, fire and brimstone from outer-space, probably asteroids with the entire inner-space and outer-space also called the heavens also being dissolved with the other planets and stars of our created heavens and earth and they will probably collapse into the âLake of Fireâ, 2Peter 3:10.
Testamony of Jesus:
Revelation 19:10 And I fell before his feet to worship him, but he, the Angel said to me, Behold! Stop! I am a fellow-servant of yours, and of your brothers, having the testimony of Jesus.
Worship God, Jehovah. For the testimony of Jesus
is the spirit of prophecy.
Jeremiah 22:1 So says Jehovah, Go down to the house of the king of Judah, king of southern Israel and speak this Word there,
Jeremiah 22:2 and say, Hear the Word of Jehovah, O king of Judah who sits on the throne of David, you and your servants, and your people who enter in by these gates.
Jeremiah 22:3 So says Jehovah, Do justice and righteousness, and deliver the one robbed from the oppressor’s hand. And do not oppress the alien, the widow, or the orphan, and do not do violence nor shed innocent blood in this place.
Jeremiah 22:4 For if you indeed do this thing, then there shall enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he and his servants and his people.
If Israelis had lived moral lives as measured by the commandments of God then Israel would have never gone into exile but would have remained a sovereign nation and would have been the world’s model of righteousness for the entire world’s population meaning they had opportunity to do so but God, Jehovah in His foreknowledge knew they would not and provided Jesus Christ as Messiah, Savior and king of the world with many of the world’s people making evil choices, rejecting Messiah.
Jeremiah 22:5 But if you will not hear these Words, I swear by Myself, says Jehovah, that this house, Israel shall become a ruin.
The Temple and Jerusalem were ravaged by Titus the Roman in 70 a.d. See also Hebrews 3:8-19.
The Kingdom of Heaven
Jeremiah 23:3 And I, Jehovah will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the lands where I have driven them there, and I will bring them again to their fold, Israel. And they shall be fruitful and multiply.
Jeremiah 23:4 And I will raise up shepherds over them who will shepherd them. And they will fear no more, nor be terrified; nor will they be missing anything, says Jehovah.
Shepherds here are the 12 apostles of the Lamb of God.
Shepherds:
Luke 22:28 But you are those continuing with Me, Jesus in My temptation, testing.
Luke 22:29 And I appoint a kingdom to you, as My Father appointed to Me,
Luke 22:30 that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom; the Kingdom of Heaven and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Post, after the 2nd coming of Christ!
Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David, King David a righteous Branch, and as King shall reign and act wisely, and He shall do justice and righteousness in the earth.
Jeremiah 23:6 In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His name by which He shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.
Jehovah our righteousness is âGod in the Fleshâ, âJesus Christâ, the âSon of Davidâ who will sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and govern the world from Jerusalem.
King David lived 1000 years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea and the heir-ship, throne of King David was passed to Jesus through His mother Mary who is a descendant of King David.
The Church:
Revelation 2:26 And the one overcoming, and the one keeping My works until the end, Ephesians 2:10, “I will give to him authority over the nations,”
Nations here are gentile nations over which the Church, the âBody of Christâ will have authority for 1000 years.
This is yet future and is not the âRoman Catholic Churchâ but is composed of regenerated men and women of different, various nationalities and ethnic people.
Revelation 2:27 and “he, the redeemed and faithful believer will shepherd them with an iron staff” (they are “broken to pieces like clay vessels”), as I, Jesus also have received from My Father. Psalms. 2:8, 9.
Revelation 2:28 And I will give to him, the one overcoming, the one keeping God’s works, see Rev 2:26 above, those having authority, the Morning Star, 1John 4:3-8.
The Morning-Star:
Revelation 22:16 I, Jesus, sent My angel to testify these things to you over the assemblies, Churches. I am the Root and Offspring of David, King David the bright and Morning-Star.
Satan:
Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, that didst lay low the nations!
Cut down is yet future and will probably occur at Revelation 12: 7-10.
God made Satan to be Lucifer, the Light bearer, the anointed Cherub that covers but he reinvented himself and became Satan meaning the enemy.
Isaiah 14:13 And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars, Angels of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north;
Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.
Like here probably means that he would take the place of Jesus Christ, Hebrews 1:1-4 by his own will which is extremely arrogant.
Return of the Exiles to Israel :
Jeremiah 23:7 Behold, so the days come, says Jehovah, that they shall no more say, As Jehovah lives who brought the sons of Israel up out of the land of Egypt;
Jeremiah 23:8 but, As Jehovah lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel out of the land of the north, and from all the lands where I have driven them there. And they shall dwell on their own land.
Jeremiah’s thoughts:
Jeremiah 23:9 My heart within me is broken concerning the prophets; all my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, and like a man overcome by wine, because of Jehovah, and because of the Words of His holiness.
Jeremiah 23:10 For the land is full of adulterers, idolaters. For the land mourns because of a curse. The pastures of the wilderness are dried up. And their course is evil, and their might is not right.
Jeremiah 23:11 For both prophet and priest are ungodly; yea, I have found their evil in My house, says Jehovah.
God’s Prophet is the mouth of God, Acts 3:18-21 and the Jewish Priest is the teacher of God’s word, Malachi 2:7.
Not warm and fuzzy:
Jeremiah 23:12 So their way shall be to them as slippery places in the darkness (Psalm 119:105); they shall be driven out and fall by it. For I will bring evil on them, the year of their judgment, says Jehovah.
Jeremiah 23:13 And I have seen frivolity among the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal and led astray My people Israel.
The woman at the well, John 4:4-7 and following, was a Samaritan who was selected by God through Jesus .
Jeremiah 23:14 I have also seen a horrible thing among the prophets of Jerusalem; they commit adultery and walk in falsehood. And they make the hands of evildoers strong, so that not a man returns from his evil. They are all of them like Sodom to Me, and those living in her like Gomorrah.
Adultry in this context is the worship and or following false Gods and or their teachings.
Worshiping false God’s can produce a temporary gain both in financial and social position with status but in the end leads to misery and destruction.
Jeremiah 23:15 So Jehovah of Hosts says this concerning the false prophets: Behold, I will feed them wormwood, and make them drink poisonous water, for ungodliness has gone forth from the prophets of Jerusalem into all the land.
Jeremiah 23:16 So says Jehovah of Hosts, Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you; they make you vain, empty ; they speak a vision of their own heart, not out of the mouth of Jehovah.
The Apostle Peter:
2Peter 2:1 But false prophets were also among the people, as also false teachers will be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, and denying the Master who has bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves.
Swift here probably means that when it does occur it will happen rapidly.
2Peter 2:2 And many will follow their destructive ways, by whom the way of truth will be evil spoken of.
The way of truth is found in the Bible. After The Revelation no more writings were added to the Bible as the Bible was considered to be a completed work, 1Corinthians 13:8-10.
False Prophets, a characteristic of the age of the Law of Moses, gave lying prophecies.
False teachers, a characteristic of the Church age lie about the scriptures.
The Holy Spirit and the Bible teach us what is false and what is true.
1John 4:6 We are of God, the Apostles of Christ; the one knowing God hears us. Whoever is not of God does not hear us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Jeremiah 23:17 They say to those who despise Me, Jehovah has said, You shall have peace. And they say to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, Evil shall not come on you.
Jeremiah 23:18 For who has stood in the counsel of Jehovah, and has seen and heard His Word? Who has listened to His Word and heard?
Jeremiah 23:19 Behold, the tempest of Jehovah has gone forth in fury, even a whirling tempest. It will whirl on the head of the wicked.
The 1st coming, advent of Messiah, Jesus Christ:
Jeremiah 23:20 The anger of Jehovah shall not turn back until He has executed His plan, and until He has set up the purposes of His heart. In latter days you shall understand it perfectly.
Later days is a time period beginning at pentecost and ending at Armageddon.
The Old testament is where the plan is presented through God’s prophets which was formulated in eternity past including the crucification of Messiah who is Jesus Christ, 1Peter 1:20, Daniel 9:26, Psalm 22..
The New testament is where the plan is clarified and brought to pass.
1Corinthians 2:9 according as it has been written, “Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard,” nor has it risen up into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those that love Him, Isaiah. 64:4-5, KJV.
1Corinthians 2:10 But; God revealed them to us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
The purpose of God’s heart is most probably redemption, 1Peter 1:17-23, eventually leading to the imprisonment of Satan and the âKingdom of Heavenâ where righteousness reigns on planet Earth, Revelation 11:16-18, 12:7-10.
After the Great white throne judgment the saints, those saved by God’s plan of redemption will move to the New and Eternal heaven and earth and the government of freedom, the eternal âKingdom of Godâ with Jesus Christ as the âLamp of Godâ will illumine the new earth from the new Jerusalem which will most probably orbit planet earth.
False Prophets:
Jeremiah 23:21 I have not sent the prophets, yet they ran; I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
Jeremiah 23:22 But if they had stood in My counsel and had caused My people to hear My Words, then they would havec turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
God’s, My council here and many other places is simply repentance, turning from evil deeds to righteousness.
Jeremiah 23:23 Am I a God near by, says Jehovah, and not a God from afar?
The Vicar of Christ:
John 14:16 “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, comforter that He may be with you forever;
John 14:17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him, He is an invisible Spirit, or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you, John 4:24, 1Corinthians 2:12-14.
John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
Christ will come to us as the âSpirit of Truthâ and will indwell us for eternity meaning He is our eternal life, comforter, guide and communicator with âGod the Fatherâ.
John 14:19 “After a little while the world will behold Me no more; but you will behold Me; because I live, you shall live also.
John 14:20 “In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
John 14:21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me, Matthew 22:37-40; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him, and will disclose Myself to him.”
Keep here is not to perfection but we strive, reaching for perfection and in our imperfection confessing our sins by prayer to âGod the Fatherâ in the name of âJesus Christâ who was made sin for us and also trusted friends who pray for us but do not Gossip.
Jeremiah 23:24 Or can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I do not see him, says Jehovah? Do I not, yes I do fill the heavens and the earth, says Jehovah?
Fill in this context means that God is everywhere or omnipresent.
Jeremiah 23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, those who prophesy lies in My name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
This concerns false dreams from false prophets, the prophets of world peace with the world desperately wanting peace.
Matthew 24:6 “And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.
Matthew 24:7 “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.
Joel chapter 2 was quoted by the Apostle Peter in Acts chapter 2 citing dreams and prophecy for Israel and gentiles.
But, my assumption here is that was probably interrupted in 70a.d with the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple and becoming the age, times of the gentiles or 100 a.d with the completion of the books of the Bible but will resume during the 70th week of the Prophet Daniel.
Jeremiah 23:26 How long is this there in the heart of the prophets, the prophets of lies; yea, the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?
Jeremiah 23:27 They plot to cause My people to forget My name by their dreams which they tell, each one to his neighbor, even as their fathers have forgotten My name for Baal.
My name for Baal means they choose Baal over Jehovah.
Jeremiah 23:28 The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream.
And he who has My Word, let him speak My Word faithfully.
What has the chaff to do with the wheat, says Jehovah?
Chaff, Wheat:
Luke 3:16 John the Baptist answered and said to them all, “As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Luke 3:17 “His, Christ’s winnowing fork is in His hand to thoroughly clear His threshing floor, and to gather the wheat into His barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
Chaff is the outer cover for the wheat and is removed after the harvest of the wheat and in this case is burned becoming an allegory.
Jeremiah 23:29 Is not My Word thus like fire, says Jehovah, and like a hammer which breaks a rock in pieces?
Jeremiah 23:30 Then, Jehovah says, Behold, I am against the prophets who steal My Words, each one from his neighbor.
My assumption here is that he should be looking to the designated teachers, the priest of Israel or the recorded prophets and not his neighbor for information as this is how cults can get started through distortion. When the prophet Daniel wanted information he referred to the âBook of Jeremiahâ, Daniel 9:2.
Jeremiah 23:31 Jehovah says, Behold, I am against the prophets who use their tongues and say, He, Jehovah says.
Jeremiah 23:32 Jehovah says, Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams, and tell them, and cause My people to go astray by their lies, and by their frivolity. Yet I did not send them nor command them. And they will not profit this people at all, says Jehovah.
Jeremiah 23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden of Jehovah? You shall then say to them, What burden? I will even forsake you, says Jehovah.
This means that God has forsaken the people who are asking Jeremiah and He, Jehovah has not recently sent them His Word except through Jeremiah which is the abandonment by Jehovah.
Between Malachi and Matthew was a 400 year un-inspired time of history.
Jeremiah 23:34 And the prophet, and the priest, and the people who shall say, The burden of Jehovah, I will even punish that man and his house.
These men are false teachers and false prophets and those listening and even citing, quoting them.
Jeremiah 23:35 And you shall say each one to his neighbor, and each one to his brother, What has Jehovah answered? And what has Jehovah spoken?
Jeremiah 23:36 And you shall not mention the burden of Jehovah again, for each man’s word shall be his burden. But you have perverted the Words of the living God, of Jehovah of Hosts, our God.
Jeremiah 23:37 So you shall say to the prophet, What has Jehovah answered you? And what has Jehovah spoken?
Jeremiah 23:38 But if you say, The burden of Jehovah, therefore so says Jehovah: Because you say this word, the burden of Jehovah; and I have sent to you saying, You shall not say, The burden of Jehovah;
Jeremiah 23:39 therefore, behold! I, even I will utterly forget you and cast you off and the city that I gave to you and your fathers, away from My face.
Jeremiah 23:40 And I will put on you an everlasting reproach and never ending shame on you, which shall not be forgotten.
